ST Nails and Spa Wedgewood — Local services in Seattle

Decided to try this salon because my usual spot was full. Unfortunately I had a terrible experience. i think their polish is old and whatever they used for a bottom and top coat looked discolored and funky. The nail polish never set properly I was extremely careful about letting it dry but hours after the manicure it was denting and chipping and I had to take all the polish off within 24 hours of the manicure because it looked terrible. I actually said something to the woman who did my nails before I left because it didn’t seem like the polish was setting properly and she said “that is why everyone gets Shellac manicures now”. I don’t like shellac manicures - they kill my nails. I get regular manicures that always last 1-2 weeks and have never had this problem anywhere else. Salon may be fine for shellacs but stay away if you are getting regular manicure as something is wrong with their polish and they don’t...

Went to ST nails two months ago for a mani-pedi. A woman did my mani. It lasted less than a week. The young guy who did my pedi forgot (or didnt care) to put the moisture treatment on one of my legs. And they charged way more than other salons i've gobe to. While the pedi turned out so-so in the end, after taking off the polish 3 weeks later i noticed both of my big toes had weird markings on them. I ignored them at first thinking they were just scrape marks from the guy attempting to remove my old shellacked color. But after another few weeks i see they are getting worse and i have a slight tenderness on one of my toes. So now i believe i may have a fungal infection which i have never had in my life!!! I went there to get dip sns nails and I got there she started doing the and had put the color I wanted and went on to file and not a single one was straight not only that I could my old nail polishes on the sides of my nails, I proceeded to inform her of how I didn’t like the shape and how it was even and she just ignored me and didn’t even try to fix the probably when I tried to say something again she “fixed it” I told her one more time and she looked at me looked at the nail and said it looked fine, she started rushing through my nails for telling her how I wanted them.
