Cheap Apartments Near UW Seattle Are Here!

Living in the pacific sunrise apartments has been a great experience! It’s close to UW and has private parking. The staff are always in a great mood and ready to help with any issues. I noticed some reviews that pointed management to be poor and others that the living conditions are not good, but I would say the exact opposite. I would recommend living here because it’s convenience. It’s affordable and easy. Management has bought all new appliances as seen in the pictures and staff are regularly making sure everything works. Some reviews said heating was an issue but after many months of living here I have stayed as warm and comfortable as can be. The bedrooms aren’t ginormous but they are perfect size for a college student, big enough for a queen bed, I have two closets and space for my desk. I do laundry about once a week and I don’t ever have a problem, it’s rare that all the washers and dryers are taken up but it’s a 15 second walk from my apartment. Also, I would recommend signing a lease with friends as your roommates so you get the best experience. I signed my lease by myself and the roommates that were chosen for me were really chill and clean. All maintenance issues are handled on time and my packages are always safe and sound in the LuxerOne package storage system and I pick them up with a code sent to my app. Overall, for the price it’s a steal. If you’re thinking about applying to this apartment I recommend walk into the management office and chat with them about questions. PS: I saw someone say that all positive reviews are from staff lol that’s cap. I’m a sophomore at UW studying construction management and recommend this place 10/10.

The apartment I moved into had fleas. FLEAS. My experience living here has been absolutely terrible. When I moved in, it was clear that nothing had been cleaned prior to the move-in date. There was shampoo on the shower walls, the tables still had residue on them, etc. On top of that, my unit had fleas. After a week I had over 30 flea bites. When I told the front desk, the soonest they could schedule exterminators was for ten days later. They expected me to live in a flea infested apartment for over a week before the exterminators could arrive. Not only that, but Pacsun wasn’t willing to compensate me for any of this. They weren’t willing to compensate me for laundry fees, cleaning material fees, or inconvenience fees. I had to move out and crash at a friend’s place for a week. I was physically unable to live in my unit for over a week. The people behind the maintenance and the front desk are pretty nice, but management does not care about the living experience at all. 0/5 would not live here again.

These are basic apartments, but the management is terrible. The complex is very poorly managed and commuication is terrible. My student lived here for 2 years. During that time, we had the following problems: CO2 alarm went off in the apartment hallway late on a Friday and stayed on all weekend - 3 days of no sleep for everyone in the building. Calls to management said they would get to it on Monday; Two times no heat for several days - many students slept at friends houses; The outside large trash bin is always overflowing! Trash is constantly outside the bin, on the sidewalk, walkways, and in the landscaping, it's gross!; A ceiling leak in one of the bathrooms took many days to get fixed, and they couldn't use the bathroom. Students were told they would be compensated for this but they never were; The lease does not state that if you sublet, you have to pay $900 fee to management (almost full month's rent). My requests to see this in writing were ignored (by phone and email); After year 1, my student was promised an apartment on a higher floor by staff member Abigail when we signed the renewal lease (there were many conversations, and we have a voice message with her promise) but Pacific Sunrise management told us they had no record of the request/promise and now there are no available rooms. At the exact same time, my student's friends (who were new to PS) got a higher-level apartment. It's obvious PS did not want to go through the trouble of moving students eventhough it was promised by staff. I had several emails and calls not returned over the years. The "management" staff is mainly students without any authority, and communications were consistently very poor, and requests for more action were never addressed by real management. The owners of PS own several other apartment complexes, and very little attention or care is given to student needs and disruptions. Definitely do not recommend Pacific...

My experience living at Pacific Sunrise has been pretty mediocre. Not fantastic, but also pretty ok overall. The interior of the apartments are all pretty old and it shows, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. My packages have gotten lost a couple of times while living here, but that's probably more on the delivery people since it's hard to figure out where to put things here. There is a bus stop really close by the apartment (one street away) that has made getting places a lot more convenient since it was part of the bus rerouting done after the new light rail station opened. There are only 4 laundry and 4 drying machines, which can be super frustrating since there are hundreds of residents who share the same laundry room. I think with some remodelling and more washer / dryers or in unit washer / dryers, the apartments would be great. Also, the cleaning the apartment does before moving into the apartment is very poor. I had mold growing on the bottom of my shower door when I moved in, which was disgusting to deal with, but I was able to clean it with some help with maintenance. My friend moved into an apartment with fleas in her bedroom, which was a nightmare for the first month she lived here. The apartment didn't compensate her at all for bodily damage, so that was...
