The Furniture Row in Selma, TX has always been a place that I've enjoyed: the sales people are friendly & informative w/o being pushy and the variety is outstanding.. I've been a bit disappointed, though, by the inability to view a dining room set (that I found on their website) these last 5 months.. Not through any fault of Furniture Row; I understand that Covid has affected ALL manufacturing sectors, so arrival dates keep getting pushed out.. I recall being told on my first visit to the store that the dining group I was interested in was quite popular & therefore hard to keep in the store, so it stands to reason that it's a good set, right? I opted to utilize the chat menu on the website & it gave me a choice of store location (Wow! Was it gonna be an actual person from MY store?!).. I was prompted to type in my name & cell phone # and received the response that someone would be texting me with THEIR # displayed.. And someone did! Jonathan immediately messaged me directly from the store that I've frequented; after a little back & forth and finding out that the one they'd ordered for the store was now pushed out until March, I queried if I could just purchase this set that I wanted in order to secure it.. Jonathan then asked to call me, to which I readily agreed.. He is courteous, quite friendly, informative, even answering the questions I was forgetting to ask (due to my excitement).. He made my phone purchase smooth and easy & I now have a dining room set that will be delivered to me when the manufacturer finally gets around to getting it done 😜 Thank you again, Jonathan & be safe on your travels! No issue with the sales people. They allow you the time and ability to browse without hounding you. They are also available if you should have any questions. We worked with Stacy for the couch set and Logan for the other sets. Highly recommend Logan if you are shopping there.
Sherman (manager) went over and beyond to get my couch to me since there was a delivery truck issue and they knew I was having a house warming/birthday party that weekend.
My two issues and why I’m not rating 5 stars is because of delivery issues. When the couch was delayed and not going to be delivered Stacy never called me to let me know. I found out no couch was coming the day they delivered all the other items. Also, I have yet to receive the three counter height chairs. I have called multiple times and been told multiple times that the chairs are at the warehouse and would be on the next truck, yet here we are a month later and still no chairs. I just called again to see what is going on and spoke with Melissa (who seemed disinterested in helping) and Stacy (who came across as annoyed). I am beyond frustrated. Chairs are supposed to be at the store on Thursday, but am told I would get a call when they are in. I have so far received no updates or calls for delays or not being in to date, so I’m not trusting that I will get a call.

Read moreSales reps are nice and helpful during the sell process. Past that point things have become extremely disappointing. Poor communication when it comes to delivery. I’ve been stood up twice already when it comes to delivery. Their policy is if a customer misses their delivery time they are charged $25. What’s their policy if they miss their delivery day? Both times, I had to initiate the call to check the status of delivery. The first delivery I called past the delivery window and was assured someone was coming. Three hours later I’m being rescheduled. Second delivery attempt, initial window provided. A call was made at 9:30am to advise initial window given was wrong however they’d be there at 5. At 10mins to 8, I call the store and am informed my product was damaged and they weren’t coming out.
Why didn’t someone call? When did they discover the damage ? Why call at 930am to be told 5pm but never heard from them again?
Their lack of post sale customer service is subpar at best. If this wasn’t the last piece of furniture from order I placed 5 months ago I’d just cancel and go elsewhere.
