Crumbl — Restaurant in Selma

My most recent exp with Crumbl was an adventure to say the least but the manager (Erin) at the Forum location in Selma, TX made me a forever customer. Let me explain... I'm not a big cookie person but I love a good pastry and from Crumbl, I haven't had a bad one yet. As a big s'mores fan, I saw they had a s'mores cake in this week's menu and it was like a bat signal to me. I placed an order for delivery through their website for the s'mores cake, cheesecake, and some mini cookies. Upon delivery I noticed the icing of the Nilla cupcake mini cookie (a hit) and brownie peanut butter cookie (not my fave) was stuck to the roof of the box and that led me to investigate my Ring camera for the details of the delivery. There I was able to confirm my Door Dasher (she who shall not be named) dropped my mini box of cookies and later I discovered some of the cookies actually fell on the ground (after I had eaten one. 🙄) I contacted Crumbl and spoke with a baker named Jackie who was kind and informative so I already had the confidence that Crumbl would rectify the situation. Once I spoke to Erin (the manager) we had a good laugh and she was able to completely recover Door Dash's fumble. Kindness and authenticity goes a long way and despite the s'mores cake being chef's kiss, it's the handling of a sticky situation that'll have me coming back! Thank you Erin, Jackie, and everyone at Crumbl that bring some sweetness...

First time trying Crumbl Cookies at The Forum. I downloaded the app to check out the flavors and placed an order for curbside pickup. My order was ready like immediately. Once I arrived I was greeted by a baker within a few minutes delivering my cookies to my car. What a super easy way to pick up a quick treat! So onto the cookie review. I ordered a box of 4 the prices are a little on the higher side but honestly I'm willing to pay the price for the flavor and quality, I mean these cookies are pretty big! I ended up getting a chocolate chip, cookie butter Ice cream, peanut butter brownie and a triple berry cobbler cookie. My thoughts on the chocolate chip cookie, I've had better something was a bit off on the flavor for me. The cookie butter ice cream cookie was simply delicious! I highly recommend trying that one for sure! The peanut butter brownie was awful in my opinion that one went into the trash. Then there was the triple berry cobbler cookie, like shut the front door that cookie was darn delicious!! I would just buy a box of those alone, so flipping good! So 2 out of 4 for me but I would love to go back and try a couple other flavors for sure! I'll be checking the app weekly to keep an eye on...

MILITARY DISCOUNT Walked in excitedly with my girls. Several employees standing there to NOT GREET US. They were just standing there. I asked if we are supposed to order at the cashier and they informed me to order at the kiosk. No place to input the Military discount so I paid and went to the front. On the last screen it said, you earned $10 crumble cash. Asked the cashier where and how to redeem and she said, "I don't know, maybe we have an app or something?" Asked her if there was a military discount and she said, "Yes we do. You have to order here though to get it!" UGH!! Frustrated at her lack of customer service skills and knowledge of the business she is working for.

The cookies are HUGE and expensive. 🤑They were delicious and the service was fast. We got home and had to cut the cookies in 4. Wish they had outdoor seating. Bummed we just spent $24 on 6 cookies and can't even eat them until they get cold again. Hopefully that's in the works.

We will be back as the employees become more seasoned and the crowd gets smaller. We did have to stand in a line outside but...
