Just finished renovating my parent's home built in the late '60's in March of this year. I spent 4 months looking at every single furniture store in San Antonio for the right "look". Could not find it. Spent more than 80 hours looking on-line with pretty much the same result. Stopped by the Leather Showroom during their Memorial Day sale and clearance and found the perfect style, but not the perfect color. Pablo Robles showed me around and I promised to make it back before the sale ended with my daughter, the design police of my family. We went in and within an hour or so had picked out the PERFECT color from the Natuzzi swatches. I took my board with my paint color and tile samples. I was able to pick out my husband's chair, my chair and the chairs for the breakfast seating area. All were reasonably priced. Delivery was going to take awhile as it was a custom order. Had I not bought from Leather Showroom, I would probably still be beating the pavement. It was expected to be delivered in October, however, Pablo called 2 days before my birthday and said it had arrived early. The delivery was made the next day by two capable young men who were careful, polite, efficient and helpful in putting the furniture in place. The quality of the furniture is unmatched by anything I have seen at all the stores; the leather and finish are amazing. I don't think I have ever bought anything that easy before. First, Eddie was incredible. He showed us all the options, took the time to hear what we wanted and loved. Gave us space when we wanted it but really made us feel welcome and heard! We have been going to so many stores as weāve been getting new things for new house. Our kids come everywhere with us and so we were so pleasantly surprised and grateful that our babies had the best experience too! Eddie helped us look around and kids enjoyed sitting on everything. Then when they were getting a little too excited, I believe the owner (I didnāt get his name and am kicking myself for it now!) literally pulled out markers, pens, paper and let them all draw! Then asked us if it was okay if they had apples and then set out trays of apple slices for them. They truly go above and beyond service wise! We found a couch we absolutely LOVED and are so excited to get it. Eddie was so knowledgeable, even showed us just how sturdy their couches are (my 4 kids are going to be a cake walk for it!) and we are so stoked for our new couch to be delivered. One of the salesmen that was helping us told us that he could not offer the discounted price we saw online because "it's only at the San Marcos store". We found that odd because nowhere online did it indicate only being at certain locations. After chatting with someone online we found out that the salesman was lying to us and that we can get the extra discount at any location.
We were really frustrated that we were lied to about the price and almost walked out. The person we chatted with online was bothered that we were lied to as well and called while we were in the store and ended up going back and forth to give us the same cost that we saw online originally.
Overall, I would not recommend coming here to get a new couch. Between being lied to, having to go back and forth multiple times, having to chat with someone online, and being at the store much longer than we anticipated it just was not a great customer experience at the...
