I have purchased from this store twice. I appreciate that the associates don't hound you or hover while you browse. You know where to find them when you are ready. I also find their prices to be fair. My first purchase was straight forward. I bought a mattress and base and left the store with it that day. My second experience is as follows:
On August 18 I went to the store with my teen daughter to pick out new bedroom furniture for her. She picked a set and the associate went to check the price for us. While she was doing that we went to pick a mattress. When we walked back to the front we were told that bedroom set was no longer in production. She picked another set. We placed our order and paid half down with the remainder to be paid when the furniture came in. I was told it could be up to 6 weeks. On September 15 I went to the store to pay the remainder of my bill. I was told that my furniture was in the warehouse and ready to be delivered. Great! We set a delivery date for September 28. It could have been delivered sooner but I had to set it for a day when I was not working. The delivery guys called me that morning with an estimated time and they arrived during the time they stated. When the guys arrived they asked if the store had called me about the dresser. There was a hole in the back. Nobody had called me. I looked at the hole and it was a small crack. It would not affect the function of the dresser would be against the wall. I was told to go talk to Chelsea to see about a partial refund or replacement. They set up the bed and dresser and left. As I was putting the sheets on the bed I noticed a crack in the headboard that I felt would compromise the integrity of the headboard. I went to the store and talked to Chelsea. I was given the option of a refund or to choose something else. I explained that my daughter picked this one, it was actually her second choice, and I would really like for it to be replaced. She said it would take up to 10 weeks but she could reorder it if I was ok waiting that long. It was during that interaction that I learned the furniture that was sitting in my house was floor model furniture. I did not purchase floor model furniture. I did not pay for floor model furniture. At no time was I informed that I might get furniture that everyone has touched. If I had been made aware at any point prior to it being left in my house that it was I would have refused delivery. That is simply unacceptable. Thankfully I watched them unwrap the mattress in my driveway so at least that was safe. A replacement was ordered of the headboard and dresser and I was given a partial refund. Today, January 15, I picked up the replacement pieces. I was told to keep the damaged pieces because they can't sell them. I was slightly amused by that because they were sold to me. Perhaps they meant they can't sell them because they've been in my home for 3.5 months. I am satisfied with the final outcome. Read moreMy wife and I had been shopping for over a week, looking at furniture all over Knoxville in search of a new couch and trying to find some bookshelves. We went into Ogle Furniture Outlet honestly beaten down and on the verge of giving up on actually finding anything that we were happy with... and finding ANY bookcases. It was then that we discovered the Mammoth Couch by Jackson Catnapper and the excellent sales person pulled out a catalog with SO MANY BOOKSHELVES that my book loving wife almost went into cardiac arrest. The furniture was delivered three days ago, and I am not overstating it when I say, THAT COUCH IS THE BEST PURCHASE WE HAVE MADE IN YEARS!!!! It is huge, it is beyond comfortable and we absolutely love it. I do not leave reviews often, and it takes something special for me to take the time to do this. But, the bookshelves are absolutely amazing and exceeded all expectations. The couch... OMG... I won't shut up about it. My wife joked that it is the one thing that she would literally fight me over if we ever got a divorce. The customer service was great. The delivery guys were great. If I had known that Ogle Furniture was this good, I could have saved so much time that was spent driving all over Knoxville being disappointed by selection, sales people and prices. I cannot recommend Ogle Furniture enough. Every aspect was great, but the quality of the furniture and customer service took me back to another time... when things were actually built to last and people actually cared!!! They have earned my business, literally for the rest of our lives.

While they were busy and, much like most businesses today, faced wiht staffing challenges, Stacey was a big help and a delight to work with. As busy as she was, she provided personized service to every customer I watch her serve. No wonder there was a plaque on the counter awared her as a tops sales person for five years in a row. Regarding the store itself, that have a huge selction is a vertity of price ranges. The decor that is not for sale is enough reason to stop in and look around.
