Azio media is the best vinyl store in North Carolina I don’t collect vintage books but I’m sure it’s the best as well. This vinyl store is not like most where they have a few great albums and a lot of fillers this store is full of gems. This place is definitely worth a day trip if you don’t live in Shallotte. You can spend hours in there and not see half of what Dave the owner has to offer. And speaking of Dave the owner super nice guy love to talk music with him the best part about Dave is he makes you feel special as a customer he remembers your name when you come in and he also remembers the genre of music that you’re into and once you walk in he points out what he knows that you’re like. When he gets in some new great albums you can see the excitement on his face just as much as the customers face when they look at it. I can’t say enough good things about this store. I’ve bought first press grateful dead first press Beatles first press cream first press Jimi Hendrix All in VG+ to NM condition. If you are a vinyl collector and you are ever near Azio this is...

I walked out with two records that are instant personal classics — an original pressing of Peter Tosh’s “Legalize It” from 1976, in near-mint condition if not outright mint. (How is that even possible?) I also snagged a copy of Jethro Tull’s live “Bursting Out,” also in near-mint condition. I’d been searching forever for a high-quality copy of that record. Prices for both were quite reasonable. There was a lot more interesting vinyl in stock, but I exercised some will power. Until...
Read moreAn "antique house" that was obviously a living place for a family at one time. My brother and I were amazed at all the cool stuff. We never visited until today. I mostly wanted to check out the CD collection. I did find a CD that I was not looking for, but knew the country artist. I paid $3 for it. The place has a nice collection of books and vinyl. OLD books that I remember seeing in my elementary school library in the early 80's. I browsed through the local books on history and ghosts as well. There is also handmade drink coasters made from the actual vinyl record info in the center of the record. It's...
