Tee Time Cafe — Restaurant in Shallotte

I brought my parents out for breakfast before they had to drive home back to VA. When we got to the restaurant it was right at the breakfast to lunch switch over so breakfast was to be delayed, not a problem BUT the menu does say breakfast was served all day so we were only anticipating a 15 min or so wait. After we put our order in for 2 omelets and a waffle 25 min go by and we get our food, both of the omelets were incorrect so the waitress brought the order back and put another ticket in for 5he correct food. Another 15 min go by and my parents finally asked how much longer the wait would be and inquired about a rush being put on the order since it was already messed up initially. Another 10 min goes by and 5he food comes out again, my mother's omelet was messed up for the third time and my food had been sitting in from of me since the first time it was brought out. My mother rejected the food and no longer wanted to eat, the waitress must have went back to the kitchen and explained the matter to who I thought was the head kitchen manager. She then came out of the kitchen and went to a gentleman in the table behind us Expressing her disgust for this displeased customer (my family) and when my mother overheard she called the lady's attention our way to which the lady smugly asked "well what exactly was your issue with the food" my mother answered and the lady proceeded to say "well maybe if you were a little bit nicer we could have come to a solution, we had 20 orders ahead of yours and were busy" but that alone is not our problem and the lady answered by saying "well it's not my problem either" the lady continued by saying she was the owner of the establishment and started a full fledged argument with my family, the customers of this establishment. This is the most unorganized restaurant I've ever been to, not to mention the lack of concern for customers and their issues especially since they are a family owned business or a "mom and pop restaurant" if you will. If it were up to me I would have given it 0 stars because the service was so terrible and I will continue to warn anyone and everyone who considers...

although some of the people in there were very nice, the waitress my family and I had was very rude and it seemed like she wanted us to feel privileged that she was serving us. when we said thank you numerous times she didn't say anything back. she was rushing us to order. she asked us 3 times in about 1 minute if we were all ready to order yet and when we replied with a no she sat there and looked at us sideways. and when my four year old said " I didn't get my food yet" the lady responded with some what of an attitude and said " im getting it now" to a four year old little girl. it took a while to get the food and when I got it the bottom of my reuben was all soggy and falling apart and my fries were cold. my fiancé ordered a burger with swiss and mushrooms they didn't put mushrooms on it. my father in law ordered ham and swiss on rye and got a regular ham and cheese sandwich. I don't remember what my mother in law ordered but I know it was not correct, my fiancés grandparents also received meals that were incorrect. little things, but very aggravating. one hour later my stomach was upside down. I don't know If it was just a coincidence but I will not be going back there. when you pay good money for food you expect it to be what you ordered and being in the south you would expect the people to have a positive attitude and be very kind like most southerners. If I could I would give this restaurant a -, this morning my friend and I had went into go get some breakfast, we told the women Mandy that we were paying separate before we even ordered, she said okay. We then order and I always get the French toast and it says on the menu French toast and a side of and lists the multiple sides, then an extra side is 2.00 I ordered an extra side of sausage. Mandy hands us our bill and it comes up to $18 and some change, and said well when you get up front I’ll just half the pay which means we would have paid $9.34 a piece. We get our food and my friend finds a piece of hair in her eggs, Mandy then takes the food and take it off the bill, but never offered her anything else to eat. We then get our bill and my bill goes up to $13 and something, she changed me for two sides, I explained to her the side comes with the meal, she argued with me and said it did not, and I said it says it right here and showed her where it said it, she got the manager he listened into our conversation and said came over asked if we had a problem, and said if we did never to come back.
