This place is awful! When you first go in it's great. Everyone's nice, large selection of furniture. There is an older man there, he is a jerk. My daughter and I went into Laskey's so she could purchase a bedroom set. She picked out what she wanted and put it on layaway. This was her first piece of furniture she ever bought, so we were pretty excited about the purchase. She went down and made payments. I went in to make a payment for her one afternoon, and told the staff that we would be moving out of state. I needed to know what the final balance was, and when would the furniture be available. After checking inventory, he told me that they no longer had the bedroom set and was trying to get me to pick another one off the floor. My daughter had only put $200 dollars down on the layaway making $20-$30 payments. She lost the $200 because he wouldn't return her money to her even though the furniture wasn't available and she didn't want anything else there. He said according to the layaway agreement she has to pick something because there are no refunds. It was not our fault that they no longer had the bedroom set. He was very rude and never refunded my daughter's money. She didn't want anything different out of that store. We had to move out of state so he kept the $200. Even when I would call to find out if the money would be refunded to my daughter, the woman answering the phone would get so nasty with me and tell me he will call me back and hang up. Jeffrey, who we worked with during our visit, was amazing! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner as well, Mr. Laskey, who was friendly and even indulged us on learning the ropes of Pennsylvania! I appreciated that they gave us realistic wait times for furniture, whether that was going to be as early as a week or over two months. That honesty is what keeps me as a customer and helped my husband and I come to a decision. I would highly recommend Mr. Laskey’s business and Jeffrey if you are looking for furniture, they are professional, friendly, and honest. It is a priority of mine to support local business and this establishment will continue to be our business of choice when it comes to furniture.

Read moreDon't waste your money purchasing the fabric protection plan. I was never given the service agreement so I has to call Laskeys to find out how to go about filing a claim. I was told to call the protection company to see if they would be able to help because Laskeys doesn't keep track of the service agreement numbers sold to their customers. They keep their customers invoices which show if a protection plan was purchased but apparently they're too lazy to write the service agreement number on their customers papwwork or to staple a copy of the agreement number to their documents. Which is poor customer service on their part. Laskeys I suggest either writing those service agreement numbers down prior to delivery or making a copy of the service agreement to attach to the documents you save for each customer. The girl that took my phone call today was extremely rude and unhelpful. My inlaws just spent $1,400 at your store based on my recommendation. I will never recommend your store again!
