My daughter became engaged in early January with a wedding date planned for early September. I made a trip from Idaho to Ohio to help her search for a dress in March. Renee Grace was the first shop we visited. To be honest, I had no idea how much to expect to pay for a wedding dress. Since Renee Grace custom makes their dresses, I assumed we were starting at the most expensive shop. I thought that starting there would give us an idea of what the high end cost for a dress would be. Every dress at Renee Grace was beautiful. My daughter fell in love with the first dress she took off the rack. We continued on to two other shops that day. My daughter loved the last dress of the day also. It was similar to the dress at Renee Grace but I was stunned to see the price. The dress was $800 more then the dress she found at Renee Grace. We were also going to have to pay a rush fee of $250 and hope the dress came in time for alterations. The cost for alterations could add another $500-$1000. We took pictures of the things my daughter liked about the dress and made an appointment to go back to Renee Grace. For a very minimal fee, they assured us that they could make the changes in the dress my daughter loved there. My daughter had 5 fittings , most of them with Caleigh. The owner, Teresa, oversaw all the adjustments made. There was never any fear of the dress not being done in time. From start to finish Renee Grace was a wonderful experience for my daughter. We had the choice of fabric, dress pattern and dress details. With my daughter's choice of fabric Renee Grace also made her veil. This is the kind of experience every bride should have. The dress was beautiful with a great eye to detail-from the special bustling all the way to the tag sown in with my daughter's name on it. This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Terry, the owner, was so kind and great to work with - Renee Grace wasn’t the first place I went, but they came up in my search during the initial wedding dress shopping process. I had a bad experience with another bridal shop in town that pressured me to buy a dress and increase my budget, and I almost bought my dress there, but I didn’t like the way they made me feel. I came to Renee Grace because they had a very similar dress that I almost bought at the other place, so I went in and tried it on and found the one!! I also liked the style better at Renee Grace anyways!

They’re awesome because all the dresses are made IN-HOUSE, which is almost unheard of. Usually with bridal gowns, you have to order from the designer and it can take several months for it to come in, and not to mention the shipping fee! Terry’s team can make your dress in a few months (I ordered in February and my wedding was in June, but it was ready in May), and you can make customizations on your dress! I had a very minimalist and simple dress, but I knew I wanted satin for my fabric, so you can choose your fabric too! Terry told me she was also working on a custom jumpsuit for a bride, so the possibilities are endless! Plus they do alterations in-house as well.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with the design and quality of my wedding dress! It was beyond what I could’ve dreamed. Terry did an expert job of incorporating all the features I requested into a gorgeous and cohesively designed final product. She also has a wide variety of beautiful fabric and lace choices, and from the beginning there was no limitation in the options I had to choose from- I ended up with butterfly lace, which perfectly suited the type of dress I was going for. Additionally, the dress was very well-crafted and held up beautifully throughout being shipped, hanging in the closet, outdoor photo shoots, being bustled, etc. Even though our fittings happened over Zoom calls, it was a fairly easy process. Terry shipped everything I needed to try on and walked us through how to determine the correct fit. We then pinned the dress and sent it back so she would be able to make the necessary adjustments.
