Authentic Indian taste..!! Are you missing Indian food? Then this place is for you to visit. Had read other positive reviews and couldn’t resist to go. So went there over the Memorial Day weekend. Reached there by 1pm and was damn hungry. Found the place to be very decent and very well maintained. There was a little queue but didn’t have to wait long. On my turn I ordered Chole Batura, Gobi Manchurian and a Mango lassi and paid at the front desk. Was allotted a seat and the food arrived in about 10-12 min. It was a feast for the eyes and my taste buds watered as I sipped the mango lassi and took a bite of chole batura. Gobi was okay and it was served with rice. Later I ordered dahi vada to close with. Other relevant stuff: They have a very good menu. They break between 3:30 pm to 5 pm. Reopens at 5:30 thru 9pm (please check the timings before visiting) They have a thali meals at $7.99 during weekdays. Will try that next time. Enjoy some pics below.. Happy eating..!! ;) Order all you eat and eat all you order..!! Please don’t waste food.

Earlier I gave 3 starts because food was ok though customer service was bad but now I had to go to one start because the food from here made me sick. Only drawback I felt till yesterday is that staff are not friendly and customer service and treatment is very poor. The people who work there don’t have minimum politeness towards customers. They treat as if they are serving food for free. But yesterday I and my cousin ate pani puri from here and by early morning our stomachs started hurting and we have to do multiple trips to washroom and we fell sick with stomach flu. Other two people who did not eat food from here were fine. There was never an issue with the quality of food from here but I don’t know what is going’s wrong but, their standards are falling. The tea tasted worst. Even if the staff are rude I used to go there because food used to be good but I’m not going there anymore because I know how I’m suffering because of bad quality food they are serving.

The most amazing North Indian cuisine I had in a very long time. They have different varieties of chaat options, traditional north indian dishes my favorite was sarso ka saag, daal makhni which is to die for. In chaat section we ordered dahi puri, pani puri, aloo chat and their special kachori chaat. Every single bite of it was simply heavenly. Their plain puris also have an amazing taste. The highlight is they also have freshly made indian sweets that you can order in bulk as a take away. Indians who are aware of the brand Haldiram would definetly agree that these guys are very close to that taste. Overall I would highly recommend this place to everyone visiting Cincinnati. I LOVE IT!!

Good food, but expect a wait & not-so-helpful staff. I arrived here on a Saturday afternoon, about 1 hour before closing. They close midday and reopen for dinner at 5pm.

If you have been here before, there is a clear way to order, pay, and sit down. If you are not familiar with this process, there are signs at each table & the register to explain. You place your order at the cashier first, then are assigned a table.

When we ordered, I saw the cashier had rung us up for what we ordered, plus a salt lassi, which we did not order. I inquired (before she swiped my card) about it - she glared at me and insisted that wasn't for our order. I asked again to confirm - she said it was not for us. I figured since I was reading it upside down, she was right. When it came time to pay, a different employee took our receipt and swiped our card, but first confirmed our order, and included the salt lassi. I tried to correct him, but he had already swiped. I was pretty disappointed because neither of us wanted the lassi - they simply told us it was too late, too bad - we were getting the salt lassi and we were paying for it.

Despite the rough start, we took our seats, helped ourselves to the free water, and waited. We had ordered a masala chai (sweet, spicy, milk tea), dai vada, and chole bhatura. The dai vada came out in the first 3 minutes, and my mom enjoyed it.

The other 2 items took almost 16 minutes. There was no line at the cashier, but there were plenty of people inside. Still, these two snack items should not have taken so long.

The food was delicious, but if you are in a hurry, this is not the best.

Quite a few people came at closing time and were still assisted in buying sweets - that was nice to see! I also think their trays to go are...

I do not understand why this place is overvalued. We ordered Chole Bhature and Chole was quite disappointment taste wise. Also,Aloo paratha ordered did not have any side dish like a small bowlful of raita or chutney.

Most importantly, what I did not like is you can sit there only after you order.Until then, rest of the family has to stay standing. They will not usher you when you arrive, nor will they let you sit on any of the chairs (because by the time you sit on your own, some body who has already ordered will come there saying "We are told to sit on this table".I do not blame that customer though).but they will instruct you as where one has to sit.I was asked where would I like to have my seat.I asked if I could have the booth. Then she made me have a table with 4 chairs because we were just 3 and she was way too worried about securing that Booth for future customers who were not there yet.(No, it was not reserved)

I asked if they still had Makki ki Roti. She(the owner I guess) could have politely said "Sorry mam,we do not have any" but instead "No no, last roti is just served. We only have saag.you can order if you want" in a very rude manner as if I was asking for free.

Very unwelcoming proprietress. Not so tasty food at all.A huge imrovement in their attitude and...

Once a beloved haven for delightful sweets, this establishment has transformed into a disappointing experience following my recent encounter with the restaurant staff. The specific staff member not only delivered subpar service but also exhibited a level of rudeness that felt uncalled for and deeply painful, all of which unfolded in the presence of the establishment owner.

This restaurant held a special place in my heart, and I took pride in recommending it to friends across the country. It evolved beyond a mere dining spot; it became a personal endorsement that I joyfully shared. However, during a recent visit with friends who had journeyed from another state based on my glowing recommendations, the atmosphere took a negative turn.

The staff member in question not only failed to meet the expected service standards but, shockingly, also chose to question and challenge my reaction to her unacceptable behavior. This incident played out in front of my friends, tarnishing the positive image I had meticulously built for this establishment. It's disheartening to witness a place with such culinary potential be overshadowed by a single, regrettable interaction, leaving me burdened with a sense of betrayal and a...
