No option on UberEats to chose spice level, default spice level is bland. Also rice is not included must order separately.
Edit:
"Response from the owner It’s not our fault, Uber kept 28% as commission and customer is not getting what they pay for unfortunately"
It is your fault. It's your business, your food, and you choose to use UberEats service, you can design your menu better. Regardless if you cooked the food or not, if it is not cooked well, if a naan is burned and leaves the kitchen, if a server drops a glass of water on a customer, if the staff is rude or stand-offish, if the customer has a bad experience at the end of the day it reflects badly on you, and your business. You are in charge, take responsibility. Critique is not an attack on you, understand it, and improve from it.
Bad communication is no excuse, don't assume because the price is less, you can cut quality. An everyday consumer will not know that Uber kept 28%. By cutting costs you will attract first time customers looking for a deal, however if you choose to reduce food quality instead of cutting your profit margin, or increasing price point, best case you cheapen, or reduce their reduce their experience, worst case they leave a negative review, and do not return reducing potential repeat customers. On average 1 out of 3 customers at restaurants are repeat customers, give them a reason to come back.
Had I known my dish would not have come with rice I would have bought it as well. By not communicating that it is not included, you are leaving money on the table, I am sure I am not the first or last that this has happened to. I made the mistake of presuming positive intent. As a frequent patron of Indian restaurants, I expect curries/gravies to come with rice, or if they do not, to let me know I need to purchase it a-la-carte. The same for the spice level of food, if it is not an option to customize or choose spice level, I assume it is an authentic spice level. I pray that all your food is not that bland, and it is just a fault of your ordering system. If you are going to restrict spice level to ordering directly through the restaurant, communicate it. Let people know the food through 3rd party sites will be regionalized, or toned down for local palettes. Use this as leverage to convert more traffic directly to you instead of through 3rd party couriers to reduce lost revenue from that 28% commission.
You can add a modifier group to your 3rd party menus to choose spice levels.
You can add into your description of each dish if they include rice or not, and add an option to add it to the order at an additional fee if your margins are too tight to include it for free. Other Indian restaurants in the area have made a precedent that curries come with rice included. If you go against the norm, you should specify that it does not include rice.
You can also increase menu prices for UberEats/etc. orders to make up for the marketplace fee to maintain your normal profit margins, while maintaining your usual menu prices for customers that dine in the restaurant, or choose to order directly through you. Your prices are well below your competitions, and this might be by design, but if you are going to continue to use a 3rd party courier service, you will need to increase prices like your competition. There are other Indian restaurants in the area serving that are charging twice what you are for some of the same dishes.
You don't have photos of your food on any of the 3rd party delivery sites. There are some photos on 3rd party courier sites but they are inconsistent, only on a few choice items not everything on the menu. All or none.
Your website is currently down, the only way to view your menu online is through ubereats/etc, or on your photos on your Facebook page, not professional. Even if you do not have a web ordering platform on your website, you can still have a web presence and redirect orders to your phone# or to a 3rd party site

Read moreWe had one of the worst experiences eating here and left the restaurant flabbergasted! First my group of 4 came in and sat down and no one greeted us. The person at the counter was on his phone and watching a movie on TV the whole time. We sat down at a table for 10 minutes before we realized that we had to order at the counter (no one at the counter told us this). Once we placed our order, things continued to go down hill. We all received our entrees at different times which was really uncomfortable for the other people sitting at our table without food for 15 minutes. I ordered Tika Masala and it did not come to the table with rice. Then, 10 minutes later when my friend received her Tika Masala, it did not come with rice. When I asked for the rice, I received a dismissive "yes yes, ok" and then still did not receive it until the VERY end of the meal. We all ordered waters, which are just plastic water bottles, and NO ONE at our table ended up getting any water. I'm not kidding when I say that we asked for our waters three different times, including specifically walking up to the counter to ask for our water. When we checked out, they tried to charge all of us for our drinks that we never received. If you've had spicy Indian food before you'll understand why this ruined our experience. We watched other folks in the restaurant receive their waters and drinks. I have never felt so disrespected as a customer at a restaurant before. I'm chalking it up to a cultural misunderstanding but I would never return and would never recommend this place to anyone. The person behind the counter was on his phone the entire time and acted like he couldn't be bothered to do anything. Food was just OK and there are so many other solid Indian places in Cincinnati that you can choose...
Read morePoor dining experience - After sitting down and waiting to order, the guy at the front told my friend and I that we had to get up and move abruptly, because another party booked half of the resturaunt. Not a huge deal, but after sitting down and ordering what I thought was a free water cup, I was charged for a singular bottle of water I didn't ask for. The cherry on top for this experience was that the food did not agree with me despite it being moderately spicy. I will not be returning and I can only warn others to stay away.
EDIT In response to the owner’s comment of: "Both of you entered into part hall without checking in or asking assistance…" – this statement truly baffles me. You must be confusing us with another group, as I have never in my life walked into a restaurant I have never been to before without asking where to sit or waiting to be seated. Upon entering Nawab grill, the man at the counter told us to sit wherever we wanted and upon asking if we could sit in the banquet hall, and we were told it was okay. I can accept that this must have been a busy night and there was miscommunication between parties, but don’t gaslight a former customer by lying. And I would like to address the water cup situation. If your water is not complimentary, please say that when asked. Do not reach in the fridge and give me a water bottle and plastic cup, when I originally asked if the water was free in the first place, and proceed to charge me $3 for something that is complementary at most restaurants in...
