I just had a conversation with the store manager, who was very contrite, and passed along a very sincere apology, along with a resolution to the problem. Life is often times a slippery slope and it is better to proceed slowly! Peace $
Just as I suspected the response I received my most recent negative experience at this store, was nothing more than a a form letter that is sent to all dissatisfied customers and this store’s owner is nothing more than a mirror image of his employees. I did as instructed in the response letter and gave the owner a timeline for a response, and got a big…..NOTHING!!! People think twice before doing business with this store way!
The customer service at this store, is absolutely the worst. I called because of a warranty issue on the protective box I purchased at this location along with a new iPhone in October of 2021. The issue is that I was have difficulties with the company responsible for warranting the protective box and glass. When contacting the store about the issue, the person that I spoke to was not willing to help , stating that they never sold the brand that my protective cover was. He finally checked and acknowledged that I had indeed purchased the product there. Despite this fact, the associate basically said that it was my problem, and that there wasn’t anything they could do. This lead to a shouting match between myself and the associate, as he proceeded in telling me that the art of customer service had changed???? When offered options on how to proceed he became more argumentative, saying that the store would not replace the product at the store’s expense, especially when they no longer carry the product. He wasn’t even creative enough to suggest other comparable products. This associate has no idea that his reluctance to helping and perhaps eating the $50 replacement cost, is going to cost this store way more. Read moreI visited this location today to have a line transferred from my account into someone else’s name. While most of the staff were helpful, I had a very disappointing experience with one employee, Izaiah. He made it clear he didn’t want to assist me, likely because there was no commission or sale involved for him. He did everything he could to avoid helping. I asked to speak with the manager, Brad, only to find out he no longer works there since the store changed ownership. Fortunately, I was still able to reach Brad through his old work number. He confirmed that Izaiah should have completed the process without issue. Brad even contacted the store directly, then followed up with me and arranged for Carrie and Josh to help me, both of whom were professional and resolved the issue smoothly. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first poor experience I’ve had with Izaiah. A few months ago, I witnessed another customer upset with him for adding unauthorized charges to their bill, things they had specifically declined. I’m not sure why Izaiah is in a customer service role. He consistently shows a lack of accountability and professionalism. Read moreMy roommate and I live out in the country and larger Internet companies like Spectrum and Frontier do not come to us. Last April, we decided to go to U.S. Cellular to see if their internet and router would work in our location. When in the store, We worked with Sonja, I especially emphasized how important it is that our Internet actually works because I was in school, and all of my assignments require internet connection. The service worked for maybe 2 weeks and then started being spotty. 2 weeks after that it was horrible and has been ever since. We have called U.S. Cellular to find the issue, Only for them to tell us that their nearest tower is 7 miles away from my home, and the router’s range is only 5 miles. I understand your tower isn’t close to us but it’s pathetic that you wanted the sale so bad you lied to your customer, ignored their needs, and then roped them into a 36-month payment plan for a $500+ router that works once in a blue moon. Pathetic. Thanks, Sonja, I would’ve liked to know all of this before going with your service....
