I'm not one to leave bad reviews, and in fact, I've never left one before. I've been a loyal customer of this archery shop for years, purchasing all my bows and accessories from them. Last year, I bought a brand new Mathews lift, and everything was fine until I started experiencing accuracy issues. I'd shoot and completely miss the target. I took it in for service, and they claimed the string was bad and needed replacement. After replacing the string, I still had issues, and they suggested it might be the sight, so I bought a new one. However, that wasn't the problem either. They then told me it was the arrow rest, so I bought a new rest. Still, the issue persisted.
After multiple trips back and forth, they adjusted the cam, but the problem remained. Then, the staff pressured me into buying another sight, claiming it was better than the one I had. I bought it but ended up hating it. Now, I've spent over $1200 on sights, and when I asked to return the latest one, the guy behind the counter refused.
This place is a scam. They don't treat loyal customers with respect. I've brought in over 5 friends to do business here, but I won't be recommending them anymore. Stay away from this place. And I will 100% let others know exactly what took place here.
Also…. It is less than 3 weeks from bow season and I’ve been dealing with these issues since last December.
Edit- Went to a different bow shop, they actually paid me in full for the sight farm stead wouldn’t take back. LOL. Goes to show how bad there...
Read moreI called this store to place an order for 6 arrows for my wife. They needed to be cut to order. Whoever I spoke with seemed put-off by my questions. I was told somewhat matter-of-factly, "I don't take phone orders you will have to do it online." I inquired about the arrows I ordered and was told "Yes we have them, but you'll have to order them online." I said I needed to have them cut and the answer was "yeah, yeah just put it in the subject line." I should have found somewhere else at that point but just needed to get them ordered and off my to-do list. They were listed as in stock on the website and I proceeded to order. I received a confirmation email that day. The next day I received a 'Status:Cancelled' email (this was lost to my junk mail apparently, since I just found it). Not seeing the email is mostly on me. However, I inquired as to the order status (obviously unaware of the 'cancellation') today and received a flippant response from an unidentified respondent that says "That order was cancelled on 11-27-18. You were sent an email that item is discontinued by Easton.". I received no such email, only a "Status Cancelled' with no explanation on 11/28. Poor customer service in my experience with this company (the phone call mentioned above and now a flippant email). They had all my contact information and could have called and said "Sorry I realize this was listed on our website but we cannot fill this order. Could we substitute a different arrow? Read moreMade a large online order with these guys last week that included 3 sets of mods. It was my fault for not inspecting each set before I put them in the drawer for a build I was doing this week. When I got the mods out today the one set was 1)incorrect let off and 2) didn’t include the felt nor draw stop which is secured with an Allen screw. Clearly a factory defect. Upon calling and giving my order number I was told that the correct mods were sent, that they were checked to make sure they included draw stops, and he wouldn’t help me exchange them unless I had the piece of paper connected to the bag they come in. Again my fault for not inspecting them before throwing away what I thought was an insignificant piece of paper that doubles the size of the packaging. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service and will certainly not do business with someone who goes out of their way to offer poor customer service. Would have been a simple choice to say hey sorry we will get them swapped but instead I get interrogated like I’m lying then told they won’t help.
