Only reason I'm leaving a 4 star is because of the pricing of the food. Otherwise, the staff is very accommodating and the managers always always make sure you're taken care of if you've had a less than stellar experience.
One time my son and I went to a midnight showing and this family behind us had their what looked like 3 year olds, they were so loud and banging their bottles on the metal railings directly behind mine and my sons head, one even threw his bottle and hit my son in the head. The family never even apologized. My son and I couldn't even really enjoy the movie because of it. We told the manager and she gave us free movie passes for next time.
Another time my husband and I went with our youngest and neither my husbands nor my chair reclined so we sat there super uncomfortable throughout the whole movie. We didn't make a big deal when we told the manager, we just wanted to let him know so he could fix the problem for the next person. He gave us free movie passes for next time and we told him we weren't looking to get anything out of it but that we just wanted the next person to not experience what we did. The manager insisted on giving the passes to us. We were very appreciative!

Read moreIam am a vivid movie goer at Marcus theater in Sheboygan Wi. Ever since I arrived her for over 18 months. I always bring a refreshment & nothing has ever been said . Sit my refreshment upon the ticket counter as I purchase my ticket clearly in plain view . always. Tonight I was approached by an attendant inside seating advised after 18 months I couldn't have it inside movie. So I WENT back to ticket counter person.I thought if they had a policy on this matter. I thought it should be enforced always & not at times when perhaps sales were low. Iam a senior & must watch my spending. I then asked for a refund in a very nice calm & curiously manner politely. Never once was I Give a Iam sorry or that's our policy Iam sorry NOTHING. POLICY HAVE A PURPOSE I UNDERSTAND. But I thoroughly believe they should be followed all the time. Unless for the past 18 months Marcus employees haven't been in touch with company policyss. Or just didn't care or who knows ! People have a good experience they generally tell no one. Read moreLove this theater. Used to go all the time. I haven't been there in a long time! We went today for my sister's birthday. We got up to the counter to get tickets, "Janie" was extremly rude, giving us extreme attitude when we asked her a question about the handicapped areas ( as we did go with my handicapped grandmother who is in a wheelchair) after we got our fair share of attitude and our tickets we get to the seats and my grandmother cannot get to the area because there are stairs where she said there was not. I understand people make mistakes so I went and we got new seats thank you Sara (the manager) after letting her know about our incounter with Janie, she refunded us 2 of our 4 tickets free. (She really didn't need to do that, very nice ) after all that my sister and I went up to the snack bar and were immediately greeted by Brittney she had a huge smile on her face at all times, and was extremly friendly and helpful.
