Always {WAS} a nice experience! (Read updates) **Spoiler** This Meijer uses shady 'bait and switch' tricks on top of an exponential price hikes. Avoid this place! Update 2/14: They've lost a couple stars. It's a great store, with the biggest selection anywhere. The issues are the soda machine, sushi, and stocked items. The last 4 or 5 trips I haven't been able to get something I went there for because it was out of stock. Something they normally carry, but just ran out. The latest was a new flavor of Taki chips. That's understandable because it's a newer item, possibly a lot of demand. But there have been times I haven't been able to get frozen sausage patties (this last trip included). The sushi. This one bugs me. There are big signs saying '$4.99 sushi every Wednesday'. This isn't always the case, as it wasn't today. I was hoping to pick some up for a nice birthday lunch for myself. They had sushi, but nothing for $4.99. If we're giving the benefit of the doubt, this is incompetence. At worst, this could be blatant 'bait and switch'. I'm not sure which it is, and really, does it even matter? Lastly, the soda machine. You can buy a cup to fill with whatever flavor you want from a soda machine by the door. So you buy the cup, then full it on your way out. The last 4 times I tried, there were only half the flavors available. You find this out after you purchase the cup, or you go walk up to the machine before you buy to verify what you want is available. To me, what always drew me to Meijer is the selection, sushi and orange lemonade(soda machine). The sushi and soda machine don't exist to me anymore. Less disappointing going to Meijer when you drop your expectations. Update 3/13: Down to 1 Star.... Latest trip was to pick up some kids shampoo and masking tape. The prices have doubled since opening. Almost $10 for shampoo and tape. Insane. Another update to the sushi situation too. I went in, and again, no $4.99 sushi despite them having the signs clearly stating '$4.99 sushi every Wednesday'. I asked the lady working if there was any $4.99 sushi, she said not yet, and a guy came out and asked what I wanted. I explained I was looking for any $4.99 sushi. He asks again what I want. I don't really know sushi that well, so I tell him I want something crunchy. He asks if I want shrimp, I say ok. He makes it, I take it and bring it to the register. I scan it, and.....$5.99..... I'm sorry, but this is textbook bait and switch at this point. They have how many signs claiming they sell sushi for $4.99. When you go, they conveniently don't have it, but they can make something for you! Insane. To their 'benefit' the poor cashier did change the price for me after I got pretty upset. I really wanted to just leave it there at that point. Such a horrible experience, why would anyone want to shop here at this point?

Sheboygan Meijer, not a bad place, staff is friendly, they have a great selection of dog food and treats and toys and other dog care products, sadly they have very little of a video game section these days, very few movies, and music section seems to be gone completely from the store, a bit too modern for me in that regard, if u like physical items in the media realm this not the place for you, prices are a bit on the high side sadly, granted most places are overpriced these days as we all know. I encourage this store and all others to do the right thing by the American public and lower prices back to pre COVID -19 levels now that supply chain issues are repaired and people working again and covid totally under control, no reason to keep those prices double or triple what they were before COVID just cause of sick inflation this county has suffered for the past 3 1/2 years due to mix of covid and painfully bad biden-harris polices. Clean store, but used to be 24/7 and they have not returned to pre COVID hours either and I want 24/7 stores back and will never give a 5 star review to any place that used COVID as a crutch and excuse to change hours from 24/7 or endless punishment of high prices, and then keep it there forever, not the only place to do so by far, Walmart and target and many other guilty of the same. Before COVID I have this store 5 stars and shopped here often now I only shop here if my dog needs something, i once bought here treats and foods and toys 4 times a week here, but due to insane pricing not the case anymore just can't afford too.

Although it has major Walmart vibes, Meijer is just plain old nicer than Walmart ever could be. This Meijer in particular is massive in size, clean as all heck and easy to navigate on all levels, bathroom included. The service is good if not a little frantic at times but very acceptable and chatty. The products are...numerous, to put it lightly, there is a little bit of everything for everyone here. Pricing is o.k to, not too much and sadly not too little. It's a good super mart worth checking out if you ask me! Pictures are of as many areas I could get a picture in while inside!

Spoiler This Meijer uses shady 'bait and switch' tricks on top of an exponential price hikes. Avoid this place!

Update 2/14: They've lost a couple stars. It's a great store, with the biggest selection anywhere. The issues are the soda machine, sushi, and stocked items.

It's been several years since I've shopped here. I get my groceries delivered from Walmart. Meijer had some flavors of Halo Top ice cream that WM doesn't have. They were also on sale for $1 less. I decided to pay the $8 delivery fee. Meijer app does not tell you they are out of an item when you order it. The different flavors I wanted were not in stock. Another item(rice cakes) also not in stock. So I paid $8, plus a $5 tip for delivery on items I could have gotten at WM with free delivery. The little bit I saved on the ice cream did not equal $11. I did have a great shopper(different company).

We're committed to bringing more good to your shopping experience. Response Thank you for writing and sharing your concern. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. However, you did receive two-thirds of your order, and the shopper spent gas fulfilling your order, which was successfully delivered. The service deserves compensation for their effort, and you were erroneously charged for unfulfilled items. At this time, we will not refund the delivery charge for this.

Definition / If you've done something erroneously, you've made a mistake or accidentally given out wrong information. If you erroneously accuse your brother of eating the last slice of your pecan pie, then you're wrong: he didn't do it.

According to that Definition I was charged for unfulfilled items.

Stopped for a couple of things. I'm not a regular Meijer shopper. Walked past, at least 10-12 employees. Never a hello. The checker & bagger were too concerned about something happening on the self checkouts. Never got a hello or thank you from them either!! They definitely did not have a shortage of employees, like so many other stores. A smile or hello would have been nice. I guess I know why I do...
