Taco Bell — Restaurant in Sheboygan

So it is Saturday at 10pm. I go to the Southside Taco Bell in Sheboygan, walk up to the door and it is closed. The sign says the lobby is open until midnight. I go through the drive through and ask the lady what time the lobby is open. She starts to get flustered and is clearly struggling to give me an answer so I jump in and say: "The sign on the door days midnight." Then she starts telling me about how they are very busy and there is only so many people working and they have to cut off the lobby for the amount of people coming in. They actually closed the lobby because they could not handle people coming in and only handling drive through.

So I start to come to this location. I get to the door and start to walk in...door is closed! I go through the drive through and start my order and they are out of beef! Fine, order something without beef. Once I got my order I ask the lady if this store has the same lobby hours as the Southside store and she says yes. So I ask her: "Why is the lobby closed given that it is like 10:40pm right now?" She starts telling me that only two people are working right now and it gets busy so they had to close the lobby.

BOTH Taco Bells in Sheboygan, even though their lobby hours are midnight, close their doors because they can't handle...

For one I'm writing this because of the past experiences here. Long waits for poorly prepared meals, as in soggy greasy hard shelled tacos mostly. But tonight was the last straw, this one closed at 11 pm when it clearly states 1am for that day. I sat at the menu for about 5+ min without being answered, when I finally got bored of sitting there, I pull up to the drive thru window only be rudely shooed away by the min wage slave. 10/10 will not spend money there again. For anyone looking at this, just go to the South side one. They might be a little slow when their slammed, but the food quality is so much better compared to this one.

This place has quite literally done a 180 overtime since this first(hopefully last) angry review. I find that I come here quite regularly out of habit now even though the construction on Indiana/PP is over with. Their quality has definitely quadrupled later in the evening and night compared to last year. Despite an occasional pause on drive thru to process orders placed before me, the staff is absolutely friendly, wait times are usually low depending on late night rushes. I've been threatening to update my review here recently, I feel so terrible for waiting this...

I deliver food, don't even eat here, and can only imagine what it's like being a customer at this location, especially at night. I waited an hour for the order I had to deliver last night! They can't even come out and let people know what's going on. Customer service lacks so much there. I don't know if they just don't understand that they need to communicate better by simply walking outside?? For the people behind me, they let everyone drive up to the drive through speaker that was waiting forever, drive up, just to find out they were closed. The one in front of me, I had to call and ask what was happening, they said the headset ran out of batteries?? For 20-30 min?! Let us know then?! I was also told my order was ready with them and through my system. When I waited 25 min more, pulled up, they said they couldn't find it, ran out of meat, etc.... I said.....some things..... They ended up finding the order... And I think they said a few things to me that were uncalled for. I'm not sure, I just left with my order and didn't want to hear it. I couldn't believe it, worst experience yet and probably not the last. I don't care how much you hate your job, want to close, or lack staff, that's not...
