Pet Food Warehouse has a well deserved reputation for being an amazing place for furry friends and a local treasure! Everyone who works here is sooooo friendly! They love talking with you about your pet, interacting with your little guy/gal, and are quite knowledgeable about all the products they carry. They will definetly come to help you find something, so don't be alarmed or feel like they're trying to push a sale. My experience has been that they honestly just want to help you get what you need for your pet, and more often than not, they want a little time schmoozing with your pet! The store itself carries a healthy variety of toys, treats, animals part snacks, foods (dry, wet, and refrigerated), as well as hygiene and grooming products as well. There is a nice selection across a spectrum of prices, so you can spring for the organic, locally sourced top notch dry food if you have the inclination, or you can go for something a bit more modest. Bottom line is that they don't carry crappy products, but there is an affordable option for everyone. They aren't a full range store, as far as I am aware (meaning that they don't carry or sell animals). They just carry what you need for your pooch or cat. Come here for great service, great products, and...
Read moreUsually PFW would get five stars, but yesterday when I went in, I was left to my own devices to carry four extra large bags and a basket full of raw food to the front counter without help. I was greeted by a tall man with dark hair, glasses and a dark moustache who, after saying hello and watching me struggle with the first two bags of kibble, turned his back on me and walked away as I headed to get dog food. When I got to the front counter, there was a new employee checking out another customer, the tall man had completely disappeared, a slight man, also dressed as a PFW employee stood up from behind the counter and walked away. It wasn't until Bonnie came in from outside, saw me standing at the counter with the two makes looking on disinterestedly, that me check out started. This has not been the norm for me, and Bonnie is absolutely wonderful, so that's why I'm giving four stars instead of a deserved 0 stars if I were rating the store without Bonnie's stepping in. You can do better than this. I knew you can. There was and is no excuse...
Read moreWe have been shopping here for 20 years for supplies for our cat, dogs, rabbit, frogs, mice, etc... Not a huge store (compared to the one in Williston) but always have everything we need. All the staff have been super-informative and helpful over the years, and there is always at least one person there who owns whatever unusual pet it is that we have and knows way more about it than we do. Our previous dog ate a variety of foods from PFW for 15 years - we were always certain it was healthy and appropriate for her. Most recently we adopted a rescue dog during COVID-19 and they provided special deals, lots of phone advice, and curbside pickup. And as our new pup has leash challenges, they have gone above and beyond to (remotely and safely) give us different harness options (our pup has broken 2 harnesses, starting with the one she came with!) allowing us to return the unused ones after the crisis is over. Good place to go for all your...
