I'm a local Pastor whose dedicated my life to taking care of the poor and vulnerable in our communities. I want to share the most unpleasant, unprofessional and public emasculation I've ever experienced in a kroger citywide. For those who know me they would tell you Pastor T is a stand up guy. His goal in life is to ensure no child/ family is left without food, school supplies and so much more. Today while visiting this location I asked as always were the backpacks marked down? There was a kind woman that proceeded to get me an answer. The worker located the store manager who authorized the markdown. To my dismay another supervisor name Tracy chimed in very rude and aggressive stating if you're looking for a donation you have to contact corporate. I immediately said no I'm here to purchase these backpacks not looking for a handout. Tracy went on yelling and screaming making a scene throughout the store. Stating if you get all those bags, no one else will be able to purchase any. Just so you know I had already purchased backpacks from several kroger locations. I've Always been treated with the utmost respect. To say the least Tracy left me feeling humiliated, she public emasculated me in front of the entire store/ customer service area...I was totally embarrassed due to Tracy unprofessional behavior. I had to hold my peace because it was about the Children/ not Pastor T. I do this out of love don't have sponsors everything I do is for the children. I contacted corporate to make a complaint- no one should ever have to edure the horrible demeaning experience I had on today. This is my last visit to this location. I don't shop where I'm tolerated- I shop where I'm appreciated. Closing it wasn't about me- it was all about the Children, somebody got to love them enough to endure what I've...
Read moreThis occurred on December 19, 2024 in the afternoon. I was in line and had several cases of water and soft drinks. I said to the cashier, I have two cases of water and soft drinks in the bottom of the cart. She aggressively grabbed the handheld scanner and attempted to scan my items. Because she couldnât reach it, she yelled and said, you need to come closer, which I did. She began to mumble under her breath I guess she was irritated and it showed. I said, are you having a good day, she responded rudely are you? Huffing and puffing all the while. I asked for the store manager, a gentleman came up and I explained how rude the cashier was. His response, was, whatever her name was, be nice to the customers and walked away. No, I am sorry this happened, this behavior is not acceptable. But it told me all I needed to know. When the head stinks, the whole fish stinks. It starts with leadership. I will go elsewhere to grocery shop. Avoiding Krogers on 23 and Hayes in Shelby Twp Michigan. The worse customer service ever and itâs allowed. The store has gone downhill. This was not the case a year ago. Need...
Read moreVery nice store - clean, well stocked and a good variety nof items. Curbside has gotten much better. Employee service is my issue. One of the shoppers (my shopper today) for curbside pickup is the most disrespectful young woman I have met for a long time and I taught high school so that is saying a lot. She brought my ice cream to my car so defrosted that it was dripping and raspberries that were smashed. When I phoned to share this problem, that same clerk answered and proceeded to argue with me and to tell me that she and I had had a problem before. We did -when I received the wrong kitty litter with her as my shopper. Obviously she does not have a cat. :) At that time, she informed me that I should have written the specifics in the special instructions box, but she could not tell me how to obtain that box. Seems like she recognized my name and purposely made sure that I had a couple ruined item today. The co-manager took care of my items monetarily. The shopper should be fired. She obviously should not work with the public. If I run into her again, I will...
