Kid Curious — Local services in Sheridan

I’m not one to leave reviews even if I have a bad experience however I feel this instance warrants one. First of all the store is overpriced for your kids toys. We are shopping spending money locally to support mom and pop stores and purchased a toy here at double cost as online since our first impression was great and we wanted to support local owned businesses. On the way out the door we got accused of not paying for a toy that was in our stroller that we already owned, I pulled up the Amazon order to show the cashier we purchased this months ago and instead of apologizing she quickly began justifying her actions. LOVE this store. I used to put in more than my fair share of time finding STEM toys for our kids. This store has a bit of everything without screen reliance. Their prices are on par with online stores. The difference between Amazon and their local price is negligible and definitely worth going in. They were happy to visit with me and help seek out what I was looking for. There are plenty of toys available for children to test out while parents shop. Our 3yr old was well occupied while we looked and asked to go back because she "wasn't finished." Very glad to see this...

I’ve never had a better experience in a store. The staff and the owners are prompt in helping you find the toys most fit for your child and they are very knowledgeable of their products. All of the toys are durable despite my child being rough on them. The atmosphere is very friendly and the girls that were working when I came in had bright smiles on their faces and were extremely high energy. One of said “Hi” when I said thank you... strange but...
