Lone Star Food Store — Local services in Sherman

This place could be really convenient if their car wash ever worked. They have competitive gas prices and a nicely stocked store, I’ll give them that. However, for the last couple of months that I’ve subscribed to their car wash service, the system has worked less than 3/4 of the time I’ve tried to use it. The tag also works in Van Alstyne, but that’s pretty far out of the way. Staff seems pretty unknowledgeable about the whole thing and the guy named Joe was just rude.

Pro tip: If you’re in the line for the car wash, I get it, you’ve waited like 5 years. We all have. If it doesn’t work, please don’t park your car in the line and walk in the damn store to handle it. That’s just really insanely rude and four out of the eight people I’ve had to wait behind today (3 of those being after I was polite enough to get out of line, park my car in a proper space, and walk in to handle the issue) have done this. Grand opening is going on right now and this place is CLEAN! Bathrooms were squeaky clean and the toilets have the plastic covers on them. They have tissue dispensers and nice circle mirrors you can pull out and use for makeup. Good selection of snacks and you can get a pizza at the Pie Five in the same building. Also they...
