Okay, so I'm going on a bit of a rant tonight and I apologize for its length. I have decided that the local Sherman Kroger store has not been listening to my opinion or those of many other shoppers, and tonight they may still choose to turn a deaf ear, but I'm going to share with others my irritation. Last night, I had to go to the store after a very busy day. Like many others at the end of the day I realized this was the only time I had to do my grocery shopping. I go to Kroger and collect the groceries I need for the next several days (over $90 worth) and then I proceed to the checkout. Locally, Kroger has ridiculously scaled back the checkouts and pushed their loyal customers toward the self-check registers; even requiring an employee to approach us when we are in line at a regular check-out. Well , I have reduced my visits to Wal-Mart due to this practice, and it looks like I may need to consider the same for Kroger. I broke down and went through self-check as there was only one clerk at a regular register and there were others waiting. BIG MISTAKE... as usual, it took me three times longer. People that had been behind me were out of there in no time. Five different times the stupid self-check stopped in order for a clerk to come check my purchases and clear the checkout screen for me to continue. Technology was meant to assist people not replace them. I like speaking to the clerk as I am at the register and appreciate the care they provide in serving me the customer. Kroger (1820 N Loy Lake Rd, Sherman, TX) You are losing me as a loyal customer. The lack of customer service you provide has compelled me to seek out the services of your...
Read more*DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY, NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE SALES Went to pick up our weekly groceries , total before discounts at self check out was over $140. I had 5 manufacture coupons (3 for lay and 2 for dr.pepper) *I have used multiple coupons in the past and recently! Patty said she didnât know how to handle it so she went and spoke with Julie. I guess Julie just didnât either have the knowledge, time and or care for issue. So patty was directed to go to sherly. After like 5 minutes all 3 came together and decided it wasnât right for me to use all my coupons at once that ânow itâs store policy to only use 1 coupon at a timeâ This is beyond upsetting. I drive from Denison to shop at this store but the level of care of veteran staff and mid level management is piss poor!!! The store was out of soooo many sale items and the isles were cluttered with boxes of product. I was so upset that they refused to let me use my coupons from the manufacture (that did not state any use limit) I left my entire buggy of bagged up groceries right were it sat. if this store is a representation of how the brand is being ran, itâs only a matter of time before the small negative feedback turns into large negative feedback. As a long time customer both in store and online I am absolutely furious over the situation. And will no longer visit the store unless I absolutely have to. Left feeling under appreciated and disrespected and made to look like I didnât know what I was doing in front of a store full of people.
Julie, patty, Sherly apparently need to be retrained on the use...
Read moreEDIT: The decorator of the cake (the employee I mentioned was sweet and nice) found my social media account online and attacked me with disrespectful comments and slurs. I have never been verbally attacked online by an employee of a corporation. This is unacceptable behavior! Just because I said the color of the cake was wrong.
I rarely leave reviews but the bakery managers were outright rude and ugly to my mother. We had requested a light pink cake for my birthday and they gave us a bubblegum pink cake. We had shown a picture and my mother gave specific instructions on how we wanted the cake along with showing the employee a picture. This cake was not hard to make at all. The managers came out with an attitude already and refused to fix it. Instead rudely said âyou can either take this cake or pick one from our displayâ. My mother did not cause an issue and repeatedly stated it was the wrong color and not what we had asked for. The employee who made the cake was sweet and nice but the managers treated my mother with so much disrespect. Nobody should ever treat a customer with disrespect especially when the managers is outright wrong. The color was written down on the back of the ticket. The managers should not be working there if that is how they treat their customers. Their behavior was unacceptable and frustrating when all they had to do was offer to redo the frosting (which would not have taken long). The managers need to reevaluate how they...
