For a few years now, I've felt the need to get this off my chest and explain to as many people as possible how my interviewing experience was terrible. So, if you're thinking about working here, you might want to read my experience first. First of all, I saw online that they were hiring for a few positions such as a part-time cashier, or helping people with clothes. I get a call to be interviewed. I was VERY excited, especially since I had just gotten laid off and felt so lost with being out of a job. I had to go through this process THREE times. I had never in my life heard of three interviews, which was drastic for something simple as a part-time position. It was not as if I was trying to be a manager, or some certified super-duper cosmetic specialist. The first two interviews went great with two different managers interviewing me. By the time I got the third but last call, I simply ask the woman why were there three interviews. She became suddenly and unnecessarily condescending, telling me that that was just what the store does. From the moment, I felt my chances of getting that job were done for, becuase the atmosphere between her and I over the phone suddenly went sour. I showed up anyway, and this particular interview just did not feel right. The lady barely interacted with me, and I can't recall her even looking at me much. I left the short interview, and never heard anything from them again. I worked my butt off and remained loyal to all three interviews as they asked. I spent money on gas going back and forth for all three interviews, not to mention yanking my poor parents there, all for nothing. I really wanted this job becuase I loved the idea of working in a big store, and I knew I had the credentials to fulfill what they were looking for. What was even more of a slap in the face was continuing to get email notifications that they were STILL looking for positions. I never ever considered bothering with them again, as they lost my trust and wasted a lot of my time. I know interviews don't guarantee you a job, but making me come up there for THREE of them, was way too drastic. And one other stupid thing about it is that their application processes are way too dramatic. They have you fill out all that important information about you, then send you to tons of questionnaires, and if you don't do good on that, your entire application will expire on the spot. So, it does not matter if you did not commit a crime, or have good work history, or whatever. They base your abilities on silly questionnaires. If that was really the main qualification, they should put that first, before wasting your time filling all that information, then being turned down. But I'm glad I went through this becuase if I intend to open a business of my own one day, I won't dare be like that to...

It started off by getting followed through the store and told that a $15.99 child watch that was in the walkway on a table, did not need to leave the jewelry dept. My wife told them we had a return and we were shopping for other items. She said that we could call them to bring to register when we checkout. We laughed and set them down. We continued to shop while getting followed by 2 different employees and asked did we need any help 3 different times. My wife finally said âwe know itâs close to closing but stop following usâ and continued shopping. It was 845pm and store closed at 9. We were at the return counter returning 2 unopened toasters and had 4 employees sitting there talking to one another while trying to look up our receipt from Penneyâs card. She handed card back and said it was not purchased from card. We told her that it was purchased from card. We sat there for 15 mins arguing with them about if it was purchased and finally someone else looked and found it within 30 seconds. They treated us so ugly and kept telling the front end manager that they still had 2 customers in back. Once I told them I was gonna review them they all started freaking out and doing there jobs. The 1st employee âMs Dezâ who owned a Drug Court business she told us, was the one who finally took over the transaction after the manager Dajia walked off in the middle of transaction and never returned. Ms Dez told us that she couldnât finish ringing up bc manager had her code in register, but after sitting for probably 3-5 mins finally taking over. After finishing ringing up I stopped and asked both of the other girls their names which were Kendra & manager Dajia, and of course they apologized for their actions. We witnessed Karen the store manager was behind the counter in front knew my wife and I from being in the store the past month and making several large transactions and having a lot of rewards missing from our account. Weâve never been treated like this before in that store and weâre shocked that management could act so unprofessional in front of other...
Read moreDO NOT SIGN UP FOR THERE CARE PLAN PACKAGE AND GIVE THEM YOUR JEWLERY TO BE WORKED ON!!!!! My fiance spent 190$ for the careplan package that included resizing. I went into the store to submit my ring to be resized and she said my completion date would be about 3 weeks. They failed to mention that my ENGAGEMENT RING would be gone for LONGER than 3 weeks. When i called the store on the 3rd week she said my ring had not even left the warehouse where it was being sized. When i called the care plan customer service line she was very helpful and told me that i needed to contact the store again because it should not have ever taken 3 weeks and that i needed to get the phone number of the jewler and file a complaint and have them expadite my ring. When i called them back the lady was very rude and kept cutting me off telling me they were right to have kept my ring for 3 weeks because someone should have told me that it would take UP TO 3 weeks for them to complete the service not 3 weeks to have it back in my hands. I asked for the number to the jewler and she REFUSED to give it to me and said she would call and get back to me. I told her i wanted the number so i could file a complaint and she still refused. She then put me on hold for 5 minutes to talk to the manager and he refused to give me the number as well and said he would call and find out where my ring was. This is unacceptable!!!! It should never take 3 weeks to size a ring. Especially an engagement or wedding ring. I was already skeptical about being without my ring and if i would have known it was going to take close to a month just to have it sized and polished i would have never allowed my fiance to pay 190$ for a care plan and would have taken it to a more reputable jewler that i could contact MY SELF. I plan on ATTEMPTING to get our money back for this care plan or at least file a complant to have the jewler they sent my ring to removed from there...
