If I could give a 1 star review I would. From the moment I walked in the door I knew I should have turned back around and went back out the door. When I walked in one of the servers rolled her eyes at me and my friend. The hostess was polite and seated us. It took a while for our server to get to our table. When she got to our table she was polite but never gave us her name. Everything was going seemingly smooth at first until we got our food. As I’m enjoying my food I found a hair in it. There was no servers around to flag down as they were all hanging out in the kitchen. My server had completely disappeared and hadn’t came to check on us. I had to flag down another server from across the room. She acted as if she didn’t want to be bothered and took her time to come to our table. When I told her about the hair in my food she acted confused and then just left to retrieve my server. When my server came to the table she was nonchalant about the hair and just asked me if I wanted my food remade. That should have been a sign to leave again. My food was remade but when it came out the seafood was over cooked. My crab, shrimp and crawfish were so mushy it was hard to get out the shell. By this time I just was so frustrated that I suffered through because I hadn’t eaten all day and had a headache. When I received my check they refused to give me any kind of discount even though my server stated that they would when they remade my food. Just an overall horrible experience. I was so disappointed. I would not Recommend this place to any one. I forgot to add that the water tasted like sewer water. My root beer also had a weird aftertaste. I think that they need to clean their lines of their soda machines....
Read moreUpdate: as of 7/20/22 my name is Michael Perkins I am the victim of the food poisoning as my wife described in the original post its been like 2 months since the incident I probably could have sued the laughing crab for the pain in suffering that I went through but being a combat vet I know that mistakes can happen. So on this day on around 10:30am I thought I had time on my hands and being from North East where sea food pretty commonly and also living in the north west for 20 years where it's pretty common to also eat seafood I would just speak with the owner or the general manager how important it is to properly handle and cook shell fish due to the fact of what happened to me and that even worse someone could die. But my experience was one first that when I asked to have the phone number of the owner I was completely denied that access which I found very odd (no accountability or resposability) but ok I dont have to do this but let's move on so I tried to privately away from customers and not very busy at all had a conversation with the on duty manager that day and to cut to the chase she was nice and respectful but after explaining what I went through she deffinatly gave me the impression she could care less and that they make plenty of buisness and is not a concern. I feel sorry for your restraunt because with her attitude it's going to happen again, I feel sorry for the owner because if another person goes through with what I had to, that person won't be as forgiven as I was. Read moreOn Saturday Mar 19, 2022, I drove from Texas to Shreveport just to get some crab. I order the Snow Crab, get your hands dirty and added a half pound of crab, half pound of shrimp, no sausage, with extra corn, mild garlic seasoning.
When I got back to texas I noticed I didn't get the half pound of crab. I then call and spoke with someone who was supposed to be the manager. The problem is that she kept saying that there is some who checks the order and that it was not in the plastic but was inside the brown bag because it was too much and that she was going to check the count and asked for my number and that she would give me a call back. (still waiting) I spent extra money on something I didn't get!!!!!!!!☹
She straight out LIED!!!! I've been order the same thing for almost a year and the extra crab has always been placed inside the plastic and the plastic has always been place inside the white take out plate!
Also, they raised their prices and giving you less food !!!!!!! ≈=========== My response To your comment:
Again!!!! you are lying!!!!!!!!!! What you saw, was your employee stealing my food!!!! I paid $14 for a half pound of crab that I did not get!!!!!
If, you really have cameras, I'm pretty sure they know where the blind spots are.
Also, why didn't the so call manager call me back like she said see would? I'm sure she knew someone...
