Boot Barn — Local services in Slidell

Totally let down. I have shopped here for years because i work offshore and am required to wear FRC and steel toes. I normally dont need help or ask for it but they normally offer. Today i needed to buy my once a year boots. Since my injury from the military i have to have lace ups and im a 12E. I wanted a 12 E square toed lace up. I had to go to the front and ask for help. When I did the very nice lady has no idea what or where to look for what i am asking. She was very nice but had no idea where a square toe lace up was i had to show her where the ones i had found were. She told me that they did not stock that size and would have to order on the computer. She did not know but i saw a 12e justin while i was talking to her i did not say anything, because i figured if she gives up that easy and knows that little about boots and wants me to order online i can do that from my house from Amazon. Its sad i used to enjoy shopping here it seemed to be one of those last few places that you got...

Great selection of boots for both Men & Women! But the customer service is about like the outlet. I asked the guy checking us out to put my boots in a box and put something inside the boot to keep it shape. Im traveling with these. He looked at me like I had 2 heads and had just asked him to run 3 miles up hill. He got a box and then just put paper in the toes of the boot. Not gonna keep the shape, but at this point whatever. Just check me out. His coworker told him what to get, but he obviously blew him off. At their outlet store they at least put a card board boot shaper in the boot. Put each boot in a plastic bag, then in a box. It is sad when your outlet store bags them up better, yet both have employees who would rather be...

really nice store and excellent items that are pretty unique in today’s world. However I was not satisfied with how I was treated there. The employees greeted me with a smile and seemed to have a desire to help.But then they followed me and my children around the store as if we were shoplifters. After 10 minutes, we just left.
