Sometimes the staff at the store are very rude. Other times they come across as very friendly people. I have had an equal amount of positive and negative experiences here. A lot of times the staff members will be very friendly and helpful even though sometimes they don't know what they're talkin about. I have had an instance where one of the associates was extremely rude to me staring me down like he was going to attack me. Simply for trying to exit the parking lot I was trying to leave the parking lot after looking at one of the sheds there are no enter only signs and there were two arrows one pointing the direction I was going and the other point in the other directions indicating that you could drive in and out either way. A random Home Depot associate was screaming at me standing in front of my vehicle. Because my vehicle is loud I couldn't hear what he was saying he was giving me a dirty look and then he began to walk away. When he started to walk away I began driving in the normal direction that I was trying to exit out of the man turns around and screaming at me again And I was completely confused as to what was going on. After consistently not explaining himself and not telling me that this was not an area that I could exit out of finally he approached my window and yelled at me. He told me that he was tired of people like me trying to exit in this area and that he would not allow me to exit at this area because that is not the way that we are supposed to exit because we are causing a hazard to people trying to get their mulch. Read moreSo I'm at the customer service desk ready to place a delivery order and a lady with a honey bee dew (and I mean no disrespect to any one ) asked me if I was ready to check out ..to wich I replied yes I had a couple of items with me as well she tells me well go to the register over there I stood there for a minute looking at her she tells me again OVER THERE ITS WHERE WE GO TO PAY..at that point I answer her you don't need to be rude I'm aware of that at no point did she ask me if there was anything else in addition to checking out I needed after al youl go to customer service to get a service any who didn't want to continue arguing with her I walk over to the register to try and place my order for delivery the cashier started with an attitude as well when realized I needed a delivery..well she had to go back and talk to the rude lady and tell her what I was trying to tell her from the beginning and to top it off as I walked to the register she tells me HAVE A NICE DAY being sarcastic so she hands me over to another young lady who was very polite and helpful 😊 and helped me with my order Moral to the story if you having a bad day at work STAY HOME.. Read morethis store should not even get one star. the people are rude, and show no compassion for disable veterans. they had me unload a heavy item by myself (i am a disabled veteran service connected), then they told me that they would not take the item back, and that i would have to go all the way across town to the home depot on the I-10 service road, behind Texas Road House to get the help that i needed to return the item. then i had to load the item by myself as a manager named Shane was belittling me while i was loading the item, by telling me, "well you bought it from the other store", which i replied that home depot is home depot so it should not matter. i have had very few visits to this store that left me a satisfied customer. I called home depot corporate office as soon as i departed, to complain. Corporate told me that they could have taken the item back, and that i should have gotten a full cash refund as i had paid with cash. low and behold an hour after leaving the store, they called to say they would take the item back, but would not issue a cash refund, this is 30 minutes after i went into the home depot across town and simply told them what was going on, and with-in 10 minutes i had a FULL CASH REFUND.
