Cajun Blazin Wingz — Restaurant in Slidell

I ain’t never had this type of chicken in my life before this is a negative 1 out of 10 I really wish I could ask for my money back but I was hungry and I ate it but ordered chicken strips for some reason they were fried extra hard crispy they cut the roof off my mouth not because of the heat but the roughness of the strip itself which has no bone so I don’t know how you manage that the sauce the hottest they have yes it’s a slapper I’ll give them that but the loaded French fries for what they cost did not even measure up to what was expected to in it for loaded French fries sorry but that was a miss. Ordered seafood baked potato or at least that’s what it said in the website but was given 6 cheese mashed potatoes with 5 half cut shrimp tails in them not worth the price of what I was given also ordered a 6 piece wing the wings looked like baby chicken drums from a discount market I’m talking shrunk and for the price of almost 40 dollars that’s not worth it for what I revived in person the sauce was the best feature of everything very over priced and not worth It gives a certain uptown hot wing spot but very watered down but still charges for less than mid food I wish I could ask for a refund but I ate it because I was hungry and seen the billboard if I didn’t see that I would pass this spot right up and go to New Orleans for a better plate of the same thing for at least 10...

So I trusted them for the 1st time last night. They did NOT disappoint. The restaurant was clean when we arrived and i could smell the wings outside. The cashier was friendly and patient with us. She allowed us to try sauces. Now grated that menu could have been a little bigger on the wall above the register that's just me lol. I had the 10 piece fried hard with hot lemon pepper and blazin cajun. The hot lemon pepper was official! It wasn't too salty either from the lemon pepper. The fries were loaded fries, which came with cheese sauce, ranch, jalapeños and bacon. I did ask them to hold the ranch, bc I don't like hot or room temp ranch. Them fries were awesome! I had a lemonade to drink. My partner got the 10 piece combo with the sweet heat sauce and cajun ranch fries. A sprite to drink, we both had ranch with our wings. 1 thing honestly they need bigger cups for the ranch because that small cup for 10 wings was a struggle lol. I went to the restroom and it was clean and smelled good. We ate there and the food actually didn't take long. The cook was an older lady who was polite. Our food came out hot and fresh! Y'all!!! If you want top notch, home coked, full of yummy flavor and NOT breaded wings....you better go get these! We were given samples of different sauces so that we would know which flavor we wanted. The service here is awesome. Friendly, down home, atmosphere. It just can't get any better than this. I had Honey BarBQ and Bourbon BBQ sauces, Hubby had the Southern BBQ sauces. Loved them!!! We each had a ton piece original wing and I could not eat all of mine! Hubby had the seafood baked potato and said it was to die for! I had the Cajun Ranch french fries and there were so many I could not finish eating them. I asked to substitute the ranch dressing for dry ranch seasoning and to my delight the owner did just that. She was so pleasant to talk with. This is a one of a kind family centered restaurant.
