I got my medium length hair cut to a pixie. I was extremely nervous about it, because my hair is one of the few things I liked about my appearance. My stylist said weād leave āthree fingersā of length and go shorter if I wanted. That is not what happened. I donāt know anything about haircuts, so when she told me she was going to use the clippers as scissors would take too long, I didnāt know how short that would be. Plus, I had to remove my glasses so I couldnāt see it in the mirror. My side length is barely longer than one finger. That may not seem like a huge difference, but it truly is.
She appeared to have the technical skills down. The owner seemed very nice and conversational. I have seen nothing but good things from this salon, so I was shocked with my outcome. I wouldnāt have even left a review, but I have truly been unhappy with my appearance since. I was inconsolable for the first couple of hours afterwards, and have now resigned myself to wearing ball caps at least until the sides grow out.
Leaving my review at 4 Stars only because I know what usually comes out of this salon, but Iām hoping the owner will address this with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am willing to give onstage another shot. And/or retract my previous review of 1 star and bump them to 4 stars. If services are provided in the future I will update my post, according. Reviews really help/hurt a business. I do not want to negatively impact a business when my expectations werenāt met. There were many factors that went into what my idea of the extension process is, as Iāve had them for many years. The initial install wasnāt done properly by their stylist. After extensions were falling out by the handful within a week, OnStage did ask me to come back to evaluate and reinstall. At this point I was already put off, so their customer service wasnāt fully appreciated. I found the whole thing a huge inconvenience. Mind you, sh!t happens. Who am I to so uppity? The 2nd install was okay. Nothing notable, they did last. But I wasnt truly satisfied. That was 5 years ago. I think itās fair to say, feelings aside, I do believe OnStage did what they could to correct the issue. āāāāāāāā- I canāt even. Iāll share in my next post. Completely disgruntled and unacceptable customer service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMallorie Ory (Mally ) has been my hair stylist for two years and I wouldn't trust anyone else cutting, coloring and styling my hair. I found On stage Hair Studio after leaving a salon very upset after over processing and damaging my hair which resulted in balding in the crown area of my head and hair breakage. I met with Bernard Ory (owner and Mallorie's father in law ) and he suggested Mallorie to me. It was hair love at first site . Mallorie is the kind of stylist who will listen to your hair concerns and will suggest her professional opinion what she thinks will work best for your hair type. She is not the stylist to push products or hair treatments just to make money. I have recommended several girlfriends. granddaughter and even brought over my 82 year old mother. So if your looking for that stylist that will have you looking fabulous not only when you leave the salon but several days later then she is the stylist for you. Remember the old saying invest in your hair it is the crown you...
