Over 24 years I have tried EVERYTHING for my curly hair. Years of trying to straighten away the ‘issue’ of curls, using the wrong products- and in the wrong order, countless years of learning what I could online followed by trial and error, and so much more. Then I walked into Simply You Salon and can FINALLY say I found a home for my curls. I feel like after such a painful hair journey Becca and the Simply You crew were my light at the end of the tunnel. Becca was the sweetest soul who was so patient and responsive to all of my questions and concerns. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, but also so fun and lovely to talk with! I scheduled an appointment not knowing anything about this place. I left a note when I scheduled online regarding problems I've encountered trying to find someone to do what I wanted done with my hair. I was a little skeptical that I would find anyone to do the cut I wanted. Amanda was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! She is laid back. But also very professional! I sat and chatted her up while she did my hair, which she didn't seem to be bothered by! Within 5 minutes I knew she was the one! She did exactly what I had asked for and I couldn't be happier! There should be price transparency. I felt I was taken care of by Becca being nice wise but I have never felt more taken advantage of by the extreme prices. My 2 year old hair cut was 100 and mine was 160 plus 50 for a gloss which makes no sense because in the prices it says a gloss would be included and that’s why it’s 160. I have asked around and no one can believe the up charge this place has. Would not recommend. I didn’t leave with much of a hair cut or style. And my two year old looked like she needs a hair cut still. Just because we have curly hair doesn’t mean we all need to be taken advantage of. So we spent over 300 and both still...
