I do not recommend this office at all...I gave a review on all the issues I was dealing with prior to today....and now my issue with this place is my fiance now needs a root canal after they filled the tooth....He had no pain or was aware of any cavity till he went in for a cleaning...I have no clue how he could be in pain and has had nothing but issues since they supposedly fixed a normal cavity. So lately the pain has been getting worse so we went in to get whatever the issue was resolved...and we were told that either it had to be extracted or have a root canal done...we stated that he wanted the root canal done and Dr Rose agreed that was the better option instead of extracting a tooth unnecessarily. Unfortunately we were told the first available appt was 2 weeks away. Today I first spent an hour calling before anyone would even answer the phone. When I did get thru to someone I requested he be put on a cancellation list and he needed to seen asap because he is in constant pain, and low and behold they had noted in chart to have the tooth extracted when we were very clear it was NOT to be extracted. How horrible would it have been if he would have went in to have a root canal and they ended up extracting it. Very bad business and horrible experiences since day 1.
Let me clarify one thing, all our issues have been done by the General dentist portion of the office. The pediatric dentist is phenomenal. My daughter had some work done and had no issues at all..
Prior review: I hate even giving one star...there should be an option for zero stars.
This is the worst place to go...My son has had 3 cavities filled at 3 different appointments and every single one ended up with him in severe pain and infected so bad that the ER had to lance his gums to relieve it. We didn't even know he had cavities because he was in no pain at all before they worked on it. Sadly, the only way they were able to fix his pain at this point was to do a root canal on all three teeth. I called them several times and even went in when he was in pain and they kept telling me that it is normal to have some sensitivity after a filling. I did find out that Dr. Matt drilled so deep that the nerve was almost exposed when they were just surface cavities.
I also went in to have some teeth extracted in order to be fitted for a partial and I ended up in the ER as well with a severe infection. The doctor at the ER was completely astounded that I was sent home with no antibiotic and nothing for pain.
I will be filing a complaint because every visit ended up with severe pain when there were no symptoms...
Read moreI've been coming here a long time. I'm usually well taken care of. I never have conplaints. Today, unfortunately, I got the dates mixed up as my appt was 1/6 a Monday like today, 5/6 and I quickly accepted as I needed in asap. I had to reschedule my April 30th appointment due to emergency with my child that i had to pick up from school. I was thrilled they could get me in so quickly, the following week. I use the text reminders and everything and it still didn't click that the appointment was January 6th not may 6th. Again, both of these days are on Mondays. I came here, was stuck in traffic for so long. I was so worried I was going to get canceled. I'm texting the number for allied dental keeping them informed. The texter confirms the appointment is 1/6 and I continue to agree. Again, not realizing I'm way off on my date. I get to the office and the front desk secretary whose name is NICOLE (with long blondish hair) tells me I'm wrong and I begin to cry bc I can't believe I did this, bc i drive a ways. I had even said to her "yes, today, the 6th." And she says "no, January 6th. " and I just panic. I come from Polk. I was not rude in ANY way. She went back to see if they could squeeze me in and the dentist said he would "take a look." As I sat in the waiting room completing my forms, i can hear Nicole and another staff member telling the story multiple times mocking me as if I was trying to pull something on them and talking about how they love when they "pull up the text messages, like try me!!!" And laughed with another employee. I was very hurt by this as I apologized multiple times but was grateful they would try to fit me in anyway. I walked up and handed in my forms and apologized for the 3rd time for not realizing my dates were way off. She's nice as pie and says it worked out they can get you in. I said, well you don't have to sit back here talking about me like im not right here People make mistakes. Very very unprofessional. I could understand if I was rude and acted like this was their fault. But I did nothing of the sort. I'm pretty upset with the front of house secretary. She made me feel pretty crappy. The dentist and the hygienist were both very very nice and felt terrible for what their fellow...
Read moreNever again! I too wish there was minus stars! My daughter has Aspergers Syndrome ( high functioning autism) and her anxiety is off the charts on a good day when going to the dentist. After driving over an hour we arrive to have her 4 wisdom teeth removed. Let me just say to the cocky Hispanic looking nurse with the horrible attitude That told my daughter she was to pale? Someone needs to knock you on your A$$! Anyway, This incompetent joke of a nurse and anesthesiologist poked my daughter 5 separate times yes FIVE times for an IV and never came out and said a word to me. I find this all out after the fact, The dentist himself was actually nice enough to say something ( but again after the fact) and told me in passing hey they had to poke her 5 times but They finally got the IV in and we will begin soon đł oh and it gets worse from there, moving along in the middle of taking the 3rd wisdom tooth out my daughter wakes up ( traumatic for her ) her IV comes out from her thrashing around ( anesthesiologists words not mine ) which I can only assume is because my poor daughter was scared out of her mind not to mention drugged up and not fully aware of whatâs going on. The dentist wasnât able to remove the 4th tooth and so they wheel her out to me and she is crying uncontrollably and was like this the entire drive back home and now 8 days later she has what looks like an abscess. After her hometown dentist refused to see her because he didnât do the surgery ( lord knows I didnât want to have to call Allied but I had no choice and From the time they opened at 9am I called 4 times and left 2 separate messages and my daughter herself called and did the same I even text them on an emergency line they proclaim to respond within an hour and still nothing no response! Fast forward to 1:00pm ( after their lunch Iâm sure) I finally get a text back just to be told âthey were trying to reach the Dr. to find out what to do â Well itâs now 7pm and still nothing! so off to the ER we go! Please donât take your children to this garbage...
