I tried to purchase a brand new king bedroom set and mattress set from Aaron's Store, Smithfield, NC. That bed had bed bugs. I went back to the store, they accused me of having bed bugs. I tried to explain I was just moving to my apartment and had no furniture and certainly no bed bugs. The Smithfield, NC Aaron's store treated me badly. They even called out a pest control company that confirmed no bugs were in my apartment or my belongins, but were in fact from the mattress and box spring. Aaron's would not come get the furniture and still expected payments. I called the "Corporate Office" down in Georgia. It's a bunch of CSR's who take all information and relay it to a "Regional Manager" , who brushes you off, and offer no fair solution. After months of Aaron's collection calls and me explaining what happened and why I refuse to pay, the calls stop. I have to fight to get this off my credit, because they have changed management, who's like well I wasn't around when this happened. Call "Corporate" and they are all, we'll have a "Regional Manager" call you. I've gotten dizzy with all the run around I have gotten. I wouldn't recommend this Aaron's of NC or calling the "Corporate" phone number...
Read moreI placed an order online and then found out that they don't remove refrigerator so I tried to cancel my online order and spoke with Mike at the store in Smithfield on Brightleaf Blvd and was told that I had to call the 800 number to cancel so when I called the 800 number I was told that I had to cancel from the actual store I had made the online order from so the lady from the 800 number got someone on the line for me and Mike tried to say that they were already delivering the fridge which I knew was a lie, and then I was told that they can't send a verification to my email stating that I had canceled the order within minutes of doing the online order and I didn't get my dollar back. Very dishonest. If you need to make a sale so bad that you are willing to be dishonest I want no part of that store and if a payment is taken out of my account I will be calling an attorney and the better...
Read moreGot a Samsung washer and dryer, purchased the club so it would be covered in case anything went wrong, paid it off purchased a couch and love seat we asked would the coverage also cover the washer and dryer with the couch and love seat, we were told YES IT WOULD. Well of course the dryer just stopped heating up. Called Aarons for them to say it's no longer covered. I ask so what is the coverage for, only to be told for the couch and love seat damages.
