Pedigo's New & Used — Local services in Smithville

Terrible place! My father was looking for a used washing machine. He called this place and a woman told him $200 for a used washer. My father is disabled and bound to a wheelchair so I went to the store and paid for him. When I got there she asked me if I wanted to see it and I said yes, I took pictures to show my dad because ive never seen a business sell a rusted old washer for $200 and of course there was no price on the actual washer so I assumed she would stay true to her word and stick with the $200. As I went to pay, I layed my dad's debit card on the counter with my phone and was looking at things around the counter, next thing I know she hands me a receipt and said sign here for $384! I took the receipt to my dad and he was in shock. He called and spoke to the woman and of course she said she never told him $200 and does he want his money back, he said yes. Well here it is 2 weeks later, still no refund and everytime we call she tells us we have to wait on the owner to push the refund thru, she can't do anything and has even hung up on my dad twice!! Awful customer service, the woman has terrible people skills and she is a liar. DO...

WOW !! What more can I say about this Bargain Finder Place. My washer went out Saturday I was not expecting this. First thing came to mind Pedigo New and used. Went straight to Pedigos Samantha told us we came to the right place. Just put out new Samsung washer and dryer. Told her I only needed a washer. She replied saying Selling as a set only. Come with me ladies. We reluctantly followed her upstairs. She came upon a Super Nice set washer and dryer. I couldn't believe what we were looking at. My daughter took the serial number checked it out on-line. Washer listed $850.00. alone. I knew then I could never afford it. We ask the price. Shocked wasn't the word when she said $500.00 for the set. I didn't have enough money. so both. Guess what? I could put it on lay-away!! They are delivering MY set today. How awesome is that? And who else would work with you? No...

I have drove by this place for the last year goin into town for groceries. I've been so curious and have wanted to stop in but after reading all these reviews it's very clear to see that the running issue is pricing. Id hate to waste time goin somewhere that people would be rude if I didn't buy and secondly wasting time looking at over priced items. I've never understood why people running pawn shops or thrift shops price their items so high.. its like . Do you want to actually make money or let it sit in your stock forever? Lower the prices...you draw in more business , attract more business bc you accumulate better word of mouth business & have a high turnover rate with your merchandise so in the long run u actually make more money. But .. people get greedy and jack up prices thinking they will profit more but in reality end up only making enough...
