Dr. Brown is absolutely amazing. It’s obvious she loves what she does and she extremely knowledgeable about skin issues and solutions, but in my opinion when you’re that great, everything around you has to be effective and efficient. I just didn’t see that with the office staff. I originally scheduled an appointment in September, 2023 and I was to see her on December 6, 2023. When I got to the office on December 6, 2023, I was told Dr Brown was in surgery and they were sorry and had been trying to call me, yet I had no messages a, no text and no emails. I did not get upset, even though they told me we can’t reschedule you until February 29, 2024 or you can see a doctor we have available today. I opted to wait to see Dr. Brown on February 29 and I was glad I did. The issue now is that she told me a prescription would be called in for me and she gave me the phone number to call and check on it. The people at the compound pharmaceutical company are great, always answer the phone right away and have great customer service, but they can’t help me or tell me about pricing until the prescription is called in. I’ve called Dr Brown’s office two times with one day in between to give them a chance to call me back; to no avail. I’m disappointed, after transferring from a very busy , ver popular dermatologist’s office, whose office was run very efficiently! I can truly understand why Dr Brown has so many patients, but I can’t recommend any of the patients that were at the Dermatologist we were all at, who retired; because I don’t want them to go through what I’m...

Had consult with Dr Martin who took biopsy. Very pleased with visit. Awaiting results of biopsy and follow up. I have been coming to this practice for years and I find services inconsistent with very poor follow up. You have to request services, and follow up appointments which in many cases, even if suggested, the practice doesn’t automatically schedule. With esthetic services, first consult for me was with a nonmedical person who had no idea of any procedures, other than price. However on this most recent visit, the waiting room was not packed, staff didn’t seem overwhelmed and for the first time in all these years, someone actually gave me a date for follow up visit without me having to ask for it, so maybe a change in the practice? I continued to come bc I didn't need to see them that often, location is convenient, and drs. were competent but completely disorganized. However, I simply assumed responsibilities for requesting services for my needs with very little input or follow up from office. Needless is to say that I never had any esthetic services from this practice. Their treatment of patients was unprofessional in this department. Who has an accountant or bookkeeper be the one to do a medical consult? Any other place I’ve been to, you meet medical profesional who is going to perform services so you can ask questions and get input. However, during this last visit, I was pleased. I was referred to Dr. Brown since my medical team and I have been attempting to resolve something that I've been experiencing for more than 18 months. When I set the appointment, I was given options as to which location and asked for my email address so that I could complete my patient information online. Being able to complete the information online was very helpful so that I could take my time in the comfort of my own home. From that moment on, I've felt heard, respected, that any questions I have were thoughtfully answered, and I both knew and felt like I was receiving excellent care. Both reception and check out staff were very kind and personable yet profesional. Dr. Brown is clearly knowledgeable and she's great about explaining medical terms and processes in ways that are rewarding because not only have you sought care, but you're taking a vested interest in being an active participant in your health. Ms. Ebony also put me at ease immediately as she confirmed my reasons for my appointment and then when she helped me with completing more forms for a prescription that Dr. Brown believes will help me manage my condition. I don't like going to medical offices but I feel blessed to be able to receive care at this practice. Now I look forward to going, which is especially important since being stressed exacerbates my condition. I know that I won't be whenever I have an appointment.
