Came here to purchase a mattress recently. Milton was nice enough, but here’s the real deal. If you don’t pay for your purchase upfront or outright, they will try to rope you into a 90-day, no-interest option to pay off whatever you buy. They will seemingly discount your stuff. They will claim to add taxes into the final price. What you don’t know is that the company that you will send your payments to (Acima Credit) will calculate and collect taxes on top of the supposed taxes the sales rep included in the beginning. That’s why I say they’ll seemingly give you a discount, you’ll realize what the actual price is once you ask for the payoff amount through Acima Credit. BE VERY CAREFUL and aware to pay off your purchase within the 90 days!!!! If you go beyond that, you’re on the hook to pay approximately 3x whatever your initial price was for your purchase, according to Acima. Which is complete garbage and downright robbery. And of course, adding insult to injury, they have a prepayment penalty fee that they tack on when you pay within the 90 days 😖.

Overall, I probably paid an extra $100 dollars for my mattress that I didn’t plan on paying initially. I do love my mattress and I still think I got an okay deal. But these sales people won’t tell you everything upfront, which is disingenuous and why Metro Mattress gets 2 stars. We went to 4 other mattress stores in the area before finally stopping at Metro Mattress Outlet. We just moved to this state, and we were shopping with a smaller budget. None of the other people from the other stores we visited were very convincing as to what they thought we should purchase. Then, we came here! The sales manager was SO HELPFUL, and really knew what he was talking about. He gave us a few options within our budget, and explained which mattresses would be better for what we needed. Not only that, but each mattress has a 10-year warranty! We felt taken care of, and like we were really getting our value for the mattress. We walked out EXCITED about our purchase, and even more excited to be supporting their small business. Great service! Recently purchased a bed from this outlet. The prices were good, but the sales manager was fantastic. Austin made sure we were comfortable with finding the right mattress. He waited patiently (2.5 hours) as we tried many different beds. He explained each one with knowledge and expertise. His goal wasn't to sell the highest priced bed, but to sell us the right bed for us. His approach alone would garner my business again. We walked out with a wonderful new mattress, box spring and frame under our budget. I haven't slept as well as I am now in over a year. It is like sleeping on a cloud.
