This is a place I have been bringing my family to eat for years, but lately it doesn't give me the same feeling. We stopped dining in because of the roaches we seen in the restaurant and started ONLY getting the displayed hibachi and sushi rolls because it's always prepared in public. Recently I picked up food and while waiting to be weighed I noticed the customer before me was charged for 3.0 pounds of food when I clearly seen that the (not digital, old school, fish scale) scale read a smidget less than 2.75 at 9.99/lb and said nothing as they paid a few extra bucks they were unaware of, so when it was my turn I watched closely as the scale read 1.12 and he quickly typed 1.25. Seeing this I corrected him and he changed it to the right weight which saved me a $1.36 on my 1 plate. Next time I came he refused my business and threatened to call police because I wanted to speak with the manager. This kid claimed his dad was the manager so he was manager and lied saying everything I come I argue, and it happened 2 out of almost 100 times in just the past year. He was rude and offensive in front of customers and when I asked him to call the police he kept acting like he would but kept hanging up. This place is going down hill in quality fast! I'm so disappointed in the way a loyal customer was treated because I didn't allow the kid at the desk to over charge me for my to go plate. I wouldn't recommend dining with this place but if you do, just make sure you get hibachi or sushi and keep your eyes on the fish scale unless your ok with being jumped out of a few bucks every time you visit which if your like me that's around $300 a year if you to go with them twice a week for a family. That's alot of extra pocket change for 1 family, and they have regulars like me that will never know unless they read this for themselves. Hope this helps you guys watch your back if your a foods. God...
Read moreI very rarely post reviews, but this was ridiculous. Google says they close at 9:30pm. My friend and I got there at 8:20pm. Paid before we were seated. The person who seated us handed us our waters. Food was dried out and just bad all in general. I thought to myself, probably because we are here so late. Server never came around check our drinks. Before we were done eating the server came and put a copy of the receipt down and a pen along with our fortune cookies. I didnât sign it cause we werenât done eating. She came back 5 minutes later and told me I need to sign it. I just finished eating and I wanted to enjoy my fortune cookie. I just nodded at her. Fortune cookie was burnt and stale. She came by again a minute after and checked to see if I signed. When she walked away I finally signed and gave her no tip as I was planning on doing cash. Bad service or not I always tip. As soon as I set the pen down she immediately came to pick it up and she complained that there was no tip. I just nodded and said bye. I decided I wasnât going to tip cash after all. Iâm not going to tip someone who rushes me, never fills up my drink, and then complains that I didnât tip, even though I was about to grab my cash. Last time I go đ¤ˇââď¸
Update: I ended up getting food poisoning from this place. I was sick...
Read moreSo Iâm a visitor from New York. I been to a lot of restaurants here where the food wasnât authentic and good so when I was visiting Snellville and got invited to go out to this buffet i was like eh okay â maybe this might break the chain. First off it was crowded! And with my baby in the stroller, my husband and I made it worst ! Lol ( just kidding ) but seriously ... lol . Kids do run anywhere they want to. They didnât have a huge selection. The best thing there to me was the lo mein and the donuts. But anyways, the main DISGUST in this restaurant was when a women came to the table talking about tip. Mind you she was NOT our server. Our server was disabled so we was still getting ready to take our tip. My baby was getting a little fussy so I had to calm her down. But then when the lady came back she even pointed to the tip on the receipt. She said something rude because the disabled server ( no disrespect) looked very sad looking at us. So we began to move and left the tip on the table. Honestly, I was so close to telling her about herself BUT I thought about my daughter. If you guys are desperate for tip ask for a raise. Nobody is obligated to tip you. You donât someone situation. Donât be snotty and take what you get. If she met the right New Yorker she wouldâve gotten...
