El Huarache Oaxaqueño Mexican Food is an absolute gem that I recently had the pleasure of discovering. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that this restaurant is a labor of love, run by the owner and their family, who all contribute to making this place special. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, giving off that authentic, homey vibe that makes you feel like you're a part of the family from the moment you step through the door. One of the standout features of this restaurant is the fact that all the food is made fresh to order. This is something you can truly taste in every bite. There's a certain attention to detail in the preparation that you don't often find in many places. Whether it's the handmade tortillas or the flavorful sauces, everything feels thoughtfully crafted and bursting with authentic Oaxacan flavors. The menu offers a range of traditional Mexican dishes, with a focus on Oaxacan cuisine, and each dish we tried was more delicious than the last. The huaraches, in particular, were a highlight, perfectly cooked and generously topped with fresh ingredients. The portions are generous, so you definitely get great value for your money. However, there were a couple of issues that detracted from the overall experience. First, I found it inconvenient that they charge an additional $1 to use a credit card. In today's world, where card payments are the norm, this fee felt unnecessary and somewhat unwelcoming. Moreover, I noticed a large digital TV above the cash register displaying prices that were lower than what I was actually charged. This discrepancy was disappointing and left me feeling a bit misled. Despite these drawbacks, the pricing is still more than fair, especially considering the quality and freshness of the food. It’s rare to find a place where you can enjoy such authentic and flavorful Mexican cuisine without breaking the bank. The combination of delicious food, reasonable prices (aside from the card fee), and friendly service makes El Huarache Oaxaqueño a place I know we’ll be returning to again and again. In short, if you’re in the mood for a genuine Mexican dining experience that delivers on flavor, freshness, and warmth, this is the place to go. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of what El Huarache Oaxaqueño has to offer. Highly recommended!

If loving El Huarache is wrong, we don’t want to be right! This place has everything we could ask for in a great local Mexican restaurant—fast, friendly service, amazing food, and a willingness to accommodate little requests without hesitation. We always ask for extra sauce (because their green and orange sauces are borderline addictive), and they happily oblige every time. One thing we really appreciate is how they swapped out foil for paper when wrapping our carne asada burrito since we’re trying to avoid foil. It might seem like a small thing, but it shows how much they care about their customers. El Huarache has truly become a favorite of ours, and we’ll keep coming back as often as we can. If you haven’t been yet, go. And don’t forget to ask for extra sauce—you’ll thank us later!

Went to this new place wanting to get authentic Mexican food, and it was a fail... ordered a huarache de asada, and it's missing the beans! And the sauce that was given to me was spoiled! 1st time here and already had a bad experience. Also the churrld are WAY! overpriced $4 for ONE! That must be some big churro! Noticed also the quesabirrias super small and a little of the consome for $14! .... I don't know if I'll be going back... (Added the Valentina to my food, due to sauce being spoiled, thank god I didn't pour it over the food)

My review is strictly about the quesabirria. I have tried birria from many many places. It's all subpar. El Huarache hands down has the best birria around town and a 10 mile radius. I can't lie. I found this place on Friday and have gotten the birria 3 days in a row. The meat to cheese ratio is perfect. The consomme is flavorful, and the tortillas are crispy. I like it with their salsa roja and lime. Seems they make everything to order, so depending on what you get, it can be a little wait, but so worth it. They are kind and welcoming with great service. I'm so glad I...
