I did a drop in and Renee was able to fit me in the schedule the next day. I arrived a few minutes behind but was warmly welcomed. My stylist was finishing up another client, so Renee got me checked in and took me to the comfy shampoo chair. Renee realized my stylist needed a little more time, she apologized for the delay and shampooed and conditioned my hair herself. The Shampoo is my favorite part of salon service and she did not disappoint. Some more time went by and Renee came by to apologize again for the delay. Promise it was fine and understood, no worries at all.

Once I got to Bianca, she was upbeat, vibrant and ready to get me on my way. She also apologized for the delay and we were on our way to my two braids. Bianca asked if I wanted stitch braids or something real cute. I took the real cute option. She located the braid hair needed, parted my hair, applied edge control or gel, not really sure and proceeded to braid. I kind of wondered about something to oil my scalp but thought thst maybe the conditioner after the shampoo covered that, so i didn't mention it. We talked and laughed through the two braids. Biancas technique was comfortable, not too tight. However, besides the curved part, I thought the style was just basic. Not the something cute I was expecting, but it was neat and clean. Bianca tied my hair down and set me under the dryer for a firm finish. I thought the hood of the dryer was placed awkwardly but I didn't mention as I assumed that's what was needed. A few moments later Renee came by and adjusted the hood.

I paid a deposit the day before when I booked the appointment, Renee checked me out and informed me of my balance. The balance was more than I expected for a shampoo and two basic braids including hair but I paid what was requested as I was already running late to an event.

I enjoyed the ambiance of the salon, it's conveniently located near home, there were lots of snack options available, the music was at a good volume and everyone was kind. I'll definitely be back and have already suggested the location to others. There are other styles I saw listed that I agree with the cost of and will just select one of those on my next visit.

I have nothing but great things to say about this salon. A little back story: When I first visited, I went to the ATL location and had my locs retwisted and curled for a wedding. The hairstyle didn’t come out the way I’d hoped and when I told Renee about it, she promised a free style when I came back into town. 7 months later, I reached out, at midnight for a same day appointment to get a retwist and the free style. Renee responded promptly and booked me for Jamie. Jamie gave me the BEST shampoo and conditioning of my life, I almost fell asleep in the bowl lol. Afterwards, I showed her the style I wanted and Jamie replicated it perfectly, she even accepted feedback so that I could get the style just right. At the end of the appointment, I went to check out and my service bill was $0.00!!!! I fully expected to pay for the retwist so was pleasantly surprised that Renee did that for me. Now THAT is what you call superb customer service. Wherever I come back to ATL, I will definitely be visiting Natural Trendzetter and have referred all of my friends and family members there!! (Snellville location)EXCELLENCE! I loved everything about this experience! There was no other word to use other than experience. I was looking for a natural hairstylist. One who truly knew how to treat, and respect my hair in its natural state. I also needed a true flat twist master… a “FLATtwistologist”if you will…😂. I did a google search and after calling/going to a few places I ended up here. I was a walk -in so I knew the likeliness of a same day appointment was slim to none. I was greeted prompt l, and although many were out ill this particular day, the receptionist had a ram in the bush by the name of Jamie who was able to take me later that evening.
