They are very nice but took almost 5 months to complete the project. I can't blame them for 1 of the months as the fabric was not in stock. We picked up our chairs on 12/1/2020 and now 8 month later this is what they look like. I was never too keen on the final job since the buttons on the back of the chairs did not line up and there was a gap between the seat and the back of the chair. We spent over $3000 getting our midcentury vintage chairs and sofa cushions redone and I might as well have bought some cheap new stuff for how long these lasted. If you're getting dining chairs done then I'd go there but if you've got button back items and don't want to wait 5 months I wouldn't advise. I will give them credit they do very nice work! But the communication with their customers NEEDS WORK!!! I was quoted one price and charged another when it came time to receive my pieces..Junior said he discussed it with me at pickup which is completely untrue. Junior says one thing and then his Father says something else and they are not on the same page with their prices. They hold your furniture for several weeks and I had to text them repeatedly to get updates on the work. Sometimes never getting a reply. I even had the pricing in a text message.. I will say they did get my pieces completed as promised before the holiday. But that was probably because I was applying pressure. My delivery was literally the night before Thanksgiving. If you decide to use them, GET IT...

My husband and I had two pieces of furniture reupholstered at New York Upholstery and they turned out spectacularly. Both pieces look and feel amazing. One was an inherited armchair and the other a full length couch. The store has a good selection of quality fabrics. New York Upholstery has pick up and delivery of your furniture (for a small fee and worth it). They do excellent work for a good price. I wish I had more furniture to upholster! Some tips...if doing a large couch, you will be without it for 2 months so plan accordingly. Also be sure to take a photo of the fabric you choose and also take a swatch. Very important!
