This place had a rough start. I went Feb 28, one week after opening. Any place that is new will always have a few issues for corrections. So instead of leaving a bad review. I decided to wait a few months and try again. The problems I had were many games not working or the kids broke them in the first week, Pinball machines were not level and all leaned to one side making it hard to play, employees were not attentive and outgoing. I had to ask for a waiter at our table and later had to ask the bartender hello, are you working because he just stood there looking at us. Not a good experience first time around. So my wife and I went back in May and have been several times since. The bartender said hi, what would you like to drink. Which was a much better improvement. We went and climbed the wall. Are you scared of heights? Then we enjoyed an hour of bowling. Wait staff are very friendly and attentive. We moved over to Pinball. They have tables there, but found out from the manager that area is for seating, but no service scheduled from the bar or restaurant was planned, but Breanna rushed over and stated she would wait on us. So she made the great tips. Food is good, your standard bar food. Even though they have a hostess and dress well. It is fast and we enjoyed it. The bar is great to watch a game and chat. It is not to loud from 9am-7pm. But on Sat, June 1, 2025 around 9pm, I guess it was all the graduation parties. There were a lot of rude teenagers that crowded around the pinball machines and wedged in between them and I said please don't do that, you are bumping my game, of course he gave me a F.U. and dirty look, he moved again and my machine tilted and stopped the game. So I turned to the police officer around the corner at the front door. She came over and immediately and he and his friends took off. So I do not fault Gamescape for rude kids with no manners. I blame their parents for bad up bringing. My wife and I recommend this place for family fun, bowling, climbing wall, ninja style ropes, games, Pinball, Halo, VR, and the restaurant. I will admit since this is a newer place and still has some growing pains, but I do see managers making corrections and will gladly go back to enjoy all...
Read moreThis is super close to my neighborhood and I was super hopeful, however, I think Iâll probably only keep coming here for the theater. Otherwise, this place is very overpriced for what it is.
The food- yes staff is very young, most have never served so they are very slow and are terrible answering questions. However, it is terribly overpriced theater/junk food. I ordered a $15 burger and asked what other sides I could get without there being an up charge. The waitress listed out all the sides, I picked a Cesar salad, she then said there was an up charge for that. Again, theyâre young and inexperienced. I was annoyed but it was fine. I got my burger/salad; there was a lot of mayo so I went to take some off and I found DOG HAIR in my burger. I let someone know and they took it, leaving the salad. When I got a new burger, there was a salad with it. I told the server I kept the other salad, and he said, âkeep this one to help balance out your burgerââŚI wasnât sure how to take that comment. Again, young, inexperienced and probably never served before. The food was nothing special, just overpriced junk. They also had a lot of âout of orderâ items, to include lemonade and milkshakes.
The arcade- the credits arenât expensive, but the games cost 6-8 credits each. For $27 I could only do about 8 games. Thatâs about $3.40 a game, which isnât great or terrible. Some games are 8-10 credits, so obviously thatâs more⌠a lot of the games were out of service already but it wasnât a problem. Most games give out between 10-20 tickets, and I want to say the average item to trade in was 50-150 tickets. Even little prizes were 50-70 tickets. Meaning, I was spending $8-10 for a dollar toy. Again, over-priced compared to other places.
Overall, this seemed over-priced, low quality, and unprepared for a crowd/being open. Again, Iâll probably come here for the theater, but I will never ever eat here or pay almost $20 for a normal, boring, cheeseburger. The staff is young and learning, however, that is part of the process, and not really a problem. The slow service, hair in my food, prices, and then random out of order things, are...
Read moreI am a frequent and loyal customer at Gamescape and have always enjoyed the environment and service provided. However, todayâs experience was disappointing and concerning enough that I feel compelled to speak up, not only as a customer but also as a manager myself who understands the value of consistent, respectful service.
On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, I brought my children to enjoy a movie and some time in the arcade. Upon arriving, there were a few employees standing behind the podium. Unlike the usual friendly and welcoming greeting Iâm accustomed to, we were not acknowledged at all. I proceeded to the bar area and began working on my laptop while my kids played.
During that time, I noticed a young female staff member, wearing a flower on her head staring at me repeatedly with what I can only describe as unprofessional, unfriendly expressions. Her demeanor made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. I brushed it off initially, but the behavior continued as she passed by several times, glancing over with what felt like clear disdain.
When my children were done in the arcade, I paid my bill and approached the same hostess to ask if we could sit anywhere. She responded with a curt âyeahâ and a dirty look. At no point did she make any effort to be polite or professional.
I did bring this to the attention of a manager near the theater, who said he would address it. While I appreciate his willingness to listen, the situation should never have reached that point to begin with.
As someone who manages people in a customer-facing environment, I find it unacceptable when staff bring personal attitudes onto the floor and make paying guests feel unwelcome. I donât know if this employee was having a bad day, but that is no excuse for lack of basic courtesy especially in a business built on family-friendly service and repeat customers.
I truly hope this issue is taken seriously. One poor experience may not seem like much, but it can absolutely change a customerâs perception and willingness to return. I expect better.
