Our family holds Chick-fil-A in very high regard as a fast food restaurant with Great customer service. Our visit today, June 7th, at approx. 4:00 pm, was rather disappointing. The initial contact was a young gentleman in the pre-drive-up, that took our order. Our greeting was, "What-a-ya want?" My wife asked the young man if there was a board menu of some kind so she could see options of things to order. The young man responded, "Hm,mm", indicating, No. My wife hesitated and said she wasn't sure if she could remember the many options. The young man turned toward the front of the line of cars and said we could drive up to the board, which we eventually did. Upon reaching the drive-thru window, I asked another young man a question. This young man was less than 30 inches from me as he was standing outside the drive-up window and I was seated in the drivers seat of the vehicle directly next to him. He appeared not to hear me. I then said, "Excuse me. Hello. Can I ask you something? Excuse me Sir." He never responded by simply turning around or recognizing that I had spoken. I then accepted the possibility that he was unable to hear. While waiting for our food, the same young man that was hard of hearing was asked by the driver of the car behind us if we could pull forward since they had received their food. The hard of hearing young man turned to the driver behind us, confirming that driver had spoken, then turned to me and asked if I could pull forward. It appeared he had just been ignoring me when I had attempted to get his attention, earlier. These two contacts with Chick-fil-A employees lead me to think these may have been persons which were not associated with the restaurant. But no such luck. They were both wearing company uniforms and had assumed, to some degree, customer service roles. This type of customer service would even be below a fast food restaurant with Arches, let alone the high level of customer service standards expected at most Chick-fil-A restaurants. Hopefully the district management will see comments like this and clean up the management...
Read moreI have eaten at wonderful Chick-Fil-A's all over the United States. It is typically my "go to" fast food option. I enjoy the food, outstanding service and typically well trained staff. However, EVERYONE should avoid the Chick-Fil-A in California City MD like the plague. Non of the typical Chick-Fil-A "service" is trained or offered at this horrible location. Of there three drive through lines, they only employ two. One of which is an App ONLY lane (which is practically empty). The three employees standing in the "APP ONLY LANE" lane (with practically no customers) state they have no idea how to order food, while holding a kiosk and payment center, and they are only there to take payment for app orders (which I believe can be paid for ON THE APP). The single and solitary drive through being utilized has NO employees ordering for customers. This added to unusually SLOW processing of orders leaves the single and solitary drive through being utilized screeched out the Chick-fil-A parking lot, through and INTERSECTION, and into another parking lot. There by screwing up traffic trying to get through the intersection. I blame none of this on the poor employees, as this is a complete lack and failure of LEADERSHIP. Leadership has actively decided to under train staff and make this the absolute slowest Chick-Fil-A in the country if not the entire continent. They deserve a Negative star rating as they have months of work and training to complete after replacing this horrible store manager. For your own good,...

They’re so rude no saying thank you nothing !! I finally got out of my car walking up to the window, where the drive-through was saying to them that everybody behind us has gotten their order as we sat there still waiting for a gallon of tea and they just rolled their eyes. I’m sick and tired of every freaking time we go to this Chick-fil-A it’s the same bullshit. They’re young kids. They could care less something better be done because I’m about to go to the commissioners in this counting about it, I don’t deal with this at any other Chick-fil-A, except the one in California, Maryland.,,,,, me and my husband are very pissed off and tired of dealing with this. We get tea at least three or four days a week along with other items that we purchase but every time we go through the mobile do the mobile order. It’s always a cluster this needs to be addressed and taken care of or we will no longer be shopping at your location sincerely, Tammy Davis a very disgusted fed...
