Be careful when renting out unit #149. The landlord is extremely obnoxious. He will harass you into paying your rent early and even threaten to sue you. Our lease was not due until the 1st of every month and according to the contract, we have until the 15th to pay, but he would message/call and harass us into paying him every 30th of the prior month. What’s more is at the end of our lease, he only returned 500 out of 1,500 worth of security deposit - claiming it was for having the apartment “cleaned and repainted”. This man doesn’t know the concept of regular wear and tear and doesn’t know what the security deposit is FOR: specifically repairing damages, not cleaning and painting to prepare for the next tenant.
