Six people working but only one at the register and one barista despite a long line. That one register person is the one who speaks so fast he can barely be understood and then has only one of the eight breakfast sandwiches available. (The spicy one that no one wants.) Yes it's 10:45a, but that's hardly breakfast served all day!
The crew seems generally friendly but could also be overhead answering a customer's request for new piece of Xmas merchandise with 'we got a box of them, can't find them, don't know if we sold them, sorry...' The barista over-poured a tea drink, giving away a Venti when a Grande was ordered, then under-poured milk having to remake someone's cappucino (twice) - two drinks in a row with the three screw-ups (and three more mistakes while I type this) - and no names on drinks so constant yelling 'Who had the xx drink...that I just screwed-up?' No wonder the line is long despite the post-peak period. Seems like a mix of bad management choices -- ordering insufficient inventory, managing that inventory badly, as well as front line roles. (If you speak rapidly/incoherently you can't take the lead taking orders and if you don't have the barista position nailed rock solid you shouldn't be solo during busy morning hours.) Read moreThe store is very busy and is in a neighborhood so you can expect the kinds of orders that come from families with children, in other words, long lines. I order using the iphone app so all of those considerations are not an issue. It is just tough sometimes to walk from the front to the back of the store through the children and find my coffee among in the crowd of people who are waiting for the barista to put theirs on the counter. It is a convenient location. What takes it down to a one star, was the thin bitter brew that I got the morning of March 3rd 2018. It was as bad as the worst coffee I have had over all the years I have worked in offices where the coffee is the cheapest anyone can find and is kept in the refrigerator and made into a weak acidic bitter brew. I ordered a grande with 4 shots to make the coffee flavor strong and hoped that the soy milk with give a rich satisfying flavor. Strong coffee with a rich flavor was what I wanted. What I got was a thin, watery, bitter, drink. Not worth a nickle to me. I don't think I am going to order coffee at Starbucks again...

I have only come here a few times but it's definitely one of my top 3 locations. I seldom rate an eatery/restaurant but this particular location is one of a kind and worthy of an excellent review. The service is not only courteous and friendly but also fast. I really like that. Also, the baristas are very efficient in every aspect... from preparing the drinks to getting pastries ready. The cashiers are always very warm, friendly, and especially sweet when parents come in with their young children. They're very patient and don't rush the customers.
