Ledo Pizza — Restaurant in Maryland

Visited this location this past weekend on Saturday. Called my order in ahead of time. When I walked in there were 5 staff members at the front counter just chatting away. 2 of them were making boxes and the other 3 were just having a good old time talking away. I stood at the counter waiting to be assisted. No one ever acknowledged I was standing there. I tried to get their attention but all to busy to even look my way. While waiting for someone to look up a young girl walked in and everyone turned to greet her and give her hugs all while I was still standing there. They then started to chat it up with this customer. I finally got the attention of a young lady that was behind the counter. I gave her my name and she got part of my order. She placed the pizza on the counter and turned around and started talking again. I asked the young gentlemen that was next to the cash register and he found the rest of my order and actually tossed it on top of the pizza. No one ever opened the box to make sure the pizza was ok or even the correct order. He took my money and then just placed my receipt on the counter to turn back around and continue to talk with everyone else. I have never felt so dismissed or ever had anyone actually toss my food at me. Guess you have to either be a friend of the staff or young to get good service at...

I have been to many pizza places. I was really happy to experience a different pizza place. My experience in the beginning was great it was so nice and Sunny we ordered and we sat where there wasn’t any people. Enjoying the evening sunny and a family sits on the other side where there was very little sun. The family told the waitress to close the blinds and despite me saying no due to the sun being so nice. The waitress told the other family that we said no. The waitress then told the lady would you like to sit on the other side where there was no sunlight coming in the lady said no! Then she said it’s for the baby. So the waitress closed the blinds. Now there was other tables they could have used none of the other people complained about the sunlight besides this family sitting opposite us. I found it to be a bad experience as the pizza was good but I was already annoyed as I have said no to closing the blinds and yet my opinion did not matter! Mind you there was seating in the shade outside and there was seating available on the other side of the restaurant as well as other tables in the restaurant. I don’t find this matter petty as we have chosen to sit on a table that did not have other families around or bothering anyone. My experience after this wasn’t pleasant. As my opinion...

I went here a lot in late 2022/early 23. The pizza has been good. The gyro I had before, and especially the calzone I just had tonight, were baaaaad. They should get rid of half of the menu and focus on pizza.

Tonight I got a chicken calzone and a buffalo chicken calzone; I didn't realize that I had eaten the buffalo one first until I looked at the label. It had canned tomato sauce that dripped everywhere (no way to hold it) and not very fresh chicken, but at least the dough was decent. Nothing "buffalo" about it though. The one that was just "chicken" was about as bad. I regret not ordering Mexican delivery.

The employees always look unhappy to be there (I don't blame them) and I always try to say "thank you" to the cashier zombie when picking up my order but I usually don't get a response. I stopped going after they wouldn't give me a $3 credit for a forgotten soda and side, and not being clear that their bonus gift cards had to be entered as "coupons" (though they made that clearer later.) So their customer care at all levels has needed work...
