Art School 99 is a great place to go if you are a beginner or if you have existing skills. Alexandra helps beginning artists develop foundational skills, such as explaining color theory (critical for mixing paints). She also helps them guide them to their own unique art pieces without prompting them with repetitive templates. Read moreII started Alexandra's weekly classes 2 month ago. Alexandra is a very inspiring, knowledgeable and non-judgmental teacher and her studio space is a great place. Classes are small (never more than 5 students). You are getting a semi-private lessons. She is great at giving everyone individualized attention, working with you at your skill level. I highly recommend Art School 99 if you're serious about improving your skills as a painter or just to try drawing...
