Ok I joined EVER FITNESS 2 months ago and I’ll tell you I absolutely love it!!! The 4 gentlemen that I was blessed to meet that are staff are just great human beings! They smile at you and it’s actually AUTHENTIC! They joke they are professional, I just wished I joined years ago. I’ve been a member of Planet fitness in ever town/ city in Cambridge, Malden etc and I’m greeted w people w angry faces they could care less and most of time I’m at desk for over an hour waiting for someone! Yeah I’m all set. But EVER FITNESS has the same and different machines, weights you name it. Super duper clean. And best of all for me at least is they have a tanning booth and it’s not those fake planet fitness ones who claim collagen infused? Gimme a break. Ever fitness tanning booth is a simple stand up booth but I’ll tell you from someone who’s Irish, I NEVER EVER burn and leave w a beautiful tan! Please do yourself a big favor get away from Franchises and join EVER FITNESS trust me just trust me as a customer you will be very happy you did!😁And it’s located right in Twin City! I love it here and I will be a customer forever. The staff all of them make this place so unique! They actually care, imagine that. They care it’s refreshing and love it so yes please try it join if your looking for results in your body to get in shape and leave w a smile on your face this is the place...
Read moreIf you want to get the straight dope on this gym, look up "Gold's Gym" at the same address...but guess what, you won't be able to find it since the owner first closed it temporarily, which made Yelp delete that listing. I'm guessing that either the national "Gold's Gym" got wind of the massive amount of complaints this place was getting which hurts their national rep, and/or the owner thinks he's being clever by evading all the nasty reviews that his lousy business got while under the GG banner.
In a nutshell: somewhat decent facility full of wannabe frat boy types hogging the squat racks but absymal service (nasty, rude, unhelpful staff) and deliberately CRIMINAL billing practices---if you are silly enough to sign up then be sure to use a Walmart refillable credit card that you can simply toss should you ever cancel your membership, or these crooks will deliberately continue to auto-charge you monthly AFTER you have gone through all the required steps to cancel. Basically you will need to pay a lawyer a hundred bucks or so to send them a "cease and desist" letter as well as cancel your credit card. (To be fair, a lot of the national chain gyms employ this shady "business practice" as well---that's why I tell my friends to just save themselves the hassle and go join a YMCA instead, which is a non-profit not a collection of evil, money-grubbing...
Read moreI’ve been a member for a little over two years and I love this place. Ownership has put a lot of effort into updating the machines/Free weights over the past year or so, and it shows. Prices are cheap for the value and just in general (especially considering it’s in greater Boston area) plus you get one free guest pass every time you visit so you can bring a friend for the same price. People/management are friendly and welcoming. You have a wide variety of beginners to advanced lifters, so there’s room for everyone. Lots of cardio equipment, never a wait. There’s a women only section which can be a big plus to some (not me, but worth mentioning). It is located mostly underground, but they keep it so well lit that you never feel claustrophobic. The only downside is the space is packed with equipment, so it can get tight sometimes during peak hours, but generally there’s never a wait for a bench or dumbbells. Plenty of parking given it’s in a plaza, and easy to get to from the Lechmere stop. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a gym in the...
