Cubs Den — Local services in South Bend

Visiting from Canada with a friend to see family and give him a tour of Chicago, he was kind enough to add a new destination to our route. Always wanted to see South Bend as it’s the birth place of my mother. This was a very appreciated sentimental journey. Because my mom was born (and having family in Chicago) in South Bend, I’ve always loved the Cubs and have a soft spot for anything in relation to South Bend. The shop has no shortage of wonderful products along with a historical atmosphere. The lady at the shop was very kind and let me have a walk around the ballpark. I love the South Bend Cubs and never thought I'd leave a lsee than positive review but here goes. The lady in the team store is not a good representative of the team or the organization. I was told by multiple staff members that I could get a SB cubs patch put on a jacket so I purchased the jacket and when I brought it in this morning the lady inside told me they can't do it and offered me no alternatives. Simply washed her hands of me in 10 seconds and shrugged me off. Apparently I was interrupting her phone browsing. I love the SB Cubs organization but I won't be spending anymore money at the Cubs Den...
