I went here as a kid years ago living in DTSB. Have fond memories. However, today I will never step foot in the store again. I will admit it was my mistake. It was absolutely thundering, raining, and severe weather. So I unknowingly pulled into the wrong parking lot for my 6 hour appt, I later assumed I’d get a ticket. Okay. I definitely didn’t expect to get towed. But again. My fault.
What I am upset about is the store clerk being RUDE as heck when I asked if their building connected to the building next door so I didn’t have to run through the rain. She essentially “shooed” me out. Okay whatever. I run back through the rain, all is well. I go to my appt. I leave my appt. Upon realizing my car had been towed, I went back into the store and politely asked where they had my car towed. And the guy was polite until I asked him the question, then he got rude too. Yall had negative 10 customers in the store/in your parking lot so you couldn’t be mad I was blocking business. Parking lot is huge and belongs to them. No worry of a parking fee or ticket. Browse to your heart's content.

Read moreI visited Saigon today to purchase some Yuca & a few other ethnic foods from Africa. Saigon is rich in variety of ethnic foods. They have goat meat. Smoked Tilapia. Cassava leaves. Plantains. Shelled fresh peanuts. Died peanuts. Ground peanuts..and peanut powder. Maize. Maize flour. Fresh mangoes. Fresh Guavas. Sweet potatoes. A plethora of Rice. Rice noodles. Pumpkin leaves(seasonal). Jamaican jerky seasoning.Tamarind. Nido. Tea. Cooking oil. Veggies... ummm....this might take all day...🤔
Bottom line; if you are a foodie, or you're from another country originally, visit Saigon..you will become less nostalgic. Period!!!
