Quick summary: Both the sales person and receptionist lied about my delivery date and didn't communicate the delay. The couch was supposed to come in 1-2 weeks and it took almost 4 weeks. The day of delivery I was lied to for hours about the couch being on the way and it wasn't even on the truck until hours AFTER it was scheduled for delivery. They also charged me for the couch before it was actually delivered. There was no communication and the receptionist hung up on me and was very rude. Do not do business with liars. I'm fine with things being behind I know there are a lot of issues right now. My issue is the lack of customer service and straight up lying to customers who are trying to get answers about a very expensive purchase.
Detailed description: Where do I even start. This place is full of liars. First the sales person, Sunny lies and says that we would get our couch in 1-2 weeks, maybe even by Saturday (this was Tuesday June 15th) but everytime he comes back there is another time that is given so that should have been our first red flag. 2 weeks pass and there is no communication. No phone call to explain why the couch has not arrived or even that there is a delay. I would have been fine if they just communicated. But they wait until the customer calls and then lie to their face.
So I gave them another week and a half and call on July 2nd. They tell me the couch will come Thursday, July 8 and they will call me Wednesday July 7 to confirm a time. Ok great. I didn't hear from them on Wednesday so I called them and they said now it's Friday. So now I'm expected to shift my entire schedule at the last minute because they are incapable of just picking up the phone and placing a simple phone call. I asked the receptionist, Ashley why I wasn't given a phone call to let me know and she gives a bunch of non answers and ultimately hangs up on me. I call back and ask why she hung up on me and she lies and says she didn't hang up because "I just picked up the phone" . Just wow.
Thursday rolls around, and I wait until almost 5 pm and no phone call. So I call them they say they will call me back. Wow! I finally get a phone call an hour later and they say the couch will be delivered between 11 am and 3 pm. Ok fine. Friday comes and 11, 12, 1, etc passes and no phone call, no couch. I call them at 3:05 and they say they're backed up and it will be another 20-30 minutes. It's now 4 pm and I've been waiting all day and I call them back. They still don't have an answer. Now I'm calling every half hour because it's clear I'm being jerked around. They give me the number to the delivery company who says they JUST picked up the couch at 5:50 pm.
The entire time she knew they hadn't even picked up the couch yet and lied to my face on multiple occasions. I finally get the couch a little bit before 8pm. The delivery guy, Corey and his assistant were very professional and apologized profusely for the delay and the fact that they charged me for the couch BEFORE it was delivered. Read moreI strongly advise not to purchase anything from this place. Their incompetence and poor business practices were proven during my recent experience with them. Just look them up on Better Business Bureau and Yelp and you will see numerous complaints about this company. We ordered a velvet sectional from this place on a weekend and was told that delivery would happen the following Thursday and I would receive a call the day before. Nobody called, and I had to call the office to ask about the delivery. I was then told that the delivery would take place on Monday between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. I took off work for the delivery and the driver didn’t show until almost 8:00 pm. After everything was placed in the living room and unwrapped, we discovered that the couch wasn’t even the one we ordered – chaise section was on the wrong side of the sectional. We tried to call the store and of course it was after hours, and nobody could respond (late delivery was likely intentional for this reason). The driver told us to make a note on the paperwork (which we did to show the incorrect item was delivered) and that the manager will fix the mistake. The following day, I did not receive a call and I had to call them again to see when the correct couch would be delivered. I was then told that the manager was not in yet and that I would get a call when this person arrived. I never received a call and I had to call them again. This time, I was asked to take a photo of the sectional and email it to them. I received a call the following day and was promised that the correct item will be ordered. Following this, I was informed that they would call me on the same day or next after they contacted their distributor about the error and reorder. Of course, nobody called, and I had to contact them AGAIN! The woman who answers the phone never has a solution to anything and immediately sends the call to her so-called manager. As an added bonus, the store charged my card five times for one sectional! The store did not even let me know about this mistake and I had to call the credit card company to dispute the charges. Read moreBy far the worst place to get furniture from, got told we would get furniture in a 2-3 weeks and 1 week later Sam calls our table had arrived but was waiting on the couch, 2 weeks later I call to get an update and some lady answers the phone and told me that our furniture was there and that all they needed was to get delivered she told me we would get our furniture Monday. Monday comes and no call so I called and was told our “table” just got there Monday mind you Sam had called 2 weeks before saying the table was there. So I was like what do you mean the table just got there I thought you said Friday that everything was there and you guys were just waiting on delivery. So I gave it till Wednesday Sam calls and says hey couch got here we deliver to you tomorrow I said okay cool. Thursday morning come we get our stuff delievered except a carpet we had bought, so we go up to the furniture place to pick it up which I had called that Moroni g to make sure it was there when we get there guess what the carpet was “sold” to someone else but I had that same morning to make sure they carpet WE had bought was there and Sam had said yes. So he told Monday I will go get one from another furniture outlet and PERSONALLY Deliver it to you !
