Hibachi Grill Supreme Buffet — Restaurant in South Bradenton

Me and my friend from Tampa visited this place last week I hadn’t been here in over 3 years and decided to take her the food was delicious last time as well as this time but there is something I feel I need to address for the staff after upon entering we were kindly greeted by a Hispanic woman she was extremely nice she sat us at a booth and took our drink orders and disappeared we never saw her again until we exited the building after about 3 minutes suddenly a different woman comes up and asks us for our drink orders which were written on a ticket and she filled them the drinks were fresh not flat or lacking in anything as we enjoyed our meal the food was REALLY GOOD the woman was VERY responsive in taking our plates which is all that she did I appreciated that her attentiveness HOWEVER the thing that completely threw me off towards the end of our meal when we were handed the ticket plate I noticed we were given both our ticket for our meal along with someone else’s to which I had to carefully examine and call the woman over to alert her she gave us the wrong ticket she quickly apologized and handed me the right ticket and took the other one over to a table across the room.... not sure what that was about but people do make mistakes so I understand but the BIGGEST thing that threw me off was once the woman returned with my card and receipt she then proceeded to glue herself to the middle of the table look down and stare are me signing the receipt obviously to see if I would put a tip now this I found extremley uncomfortable and a bit rude seeing as I ALWAYS ALWAYS tip and OVERTIP at that I don’t want someone standing or hovering over me to assure that I do this this other restaurants I’ve been to the waitresses do NOT do this it is considered a #1 no no you don’t ask to leave a tip, and you do not hover over someone and observe if they do maybe this will throw people off from coming here based on what I’ve experienced since most ppl are very serious about DISTANCE I know people work and sometimes live off tips but maybe do not hover over a customer to pressure them to do so? As soon as I walked in it was a beautiful place there was water fountains everywhere there is multiple food options it was everything I wanted to eat shrimp egg drop soup sushi and it all tasted pretty good and as I was enjoying my meal I noticed that at the bottom of my cup there was a huge mosquito while I was drinking the water I got a little upset and I asked the waiter to change my water then at the same time my son was eating cold shrimp and lo and behold a huge Roach comes out of his shrimp and goes on to the table my friend then smashed it with the napkin holder and we grabbed it with a napkin to show the waiter within called the manager over and granted she gave us the meal for free but it wasn't much of a meal because I had only had a small plate of fish and noodles and this is an all-you-can-eat place so out of curiosity I went back to the shrimp and look to see if I saw another roach and I saw a very small roach in there crawling around I said no way this place had my hopes High even took pictures of the place little selfies here and they're excited about the food and this place disappointed me greatly I then went over to the sushi bar and noticed that there was roach poop under the counter close to the walls I said don't these people sweep around here needless to say at an all-you-can-eat Chinese food place you should definitely not have a pest problem some people might be okay with this but I personally will never ever go back to this place or ever recommend...

20$ price no crab legs like advertised was told only certain nights some things ok Shrimp cocktail was good but blue crab legs deep fried no where near fresh also small clams were fishy.. sushi did not look appealing I ate seaweed salad it was ok .. There was like 10 things that were just shrimp fried shrimp peel and eat shrimp garlic shrimp etc etc… fried fish was cold. Service was good person bringing out plates made lots of noise restocking plates like I was in a kitchen… No dining room manager walking around asking anyone how things are. Also server took my fork b4 I was done to slam bill on my lap like I had had enough I ate mostly the oranges. When I told the guy upfront that I had a half a million reviews and wasn’t happy and to refund my money he told me on the phone to shut the f—k up… Very very unprofessional gentlemen upfront not understanding the things I mentioned he told me it’s cold outside ??? That’s why food is cold … When I used the restroom both garbage cans in both stalls were full like no one had checked or cleaned them… I know it is hard to go in and throw a little bleach to make it smell better and to empty the garbage which was overflowing….. in closing make sure you go there on a hot day on the right day because then the food will be hot and then if you go on the right day, the crab legs that they say they served will be there also!!!!!
