The pharmacy staff is dangerously inept; they refused to honor a state-scheduled vaccination, then demanded I "disprove" someone with a similar name getting a shot somewhere else in the world. Kafkaesque, cruel, and evil. You don't have to show ID or insurance. Anybody could've used my name, and there's two other people with my name at my own doctor's office alone! Imagine how many are in the same state? I cannot get vaccinated in my state because of this pharmacy. They are not able to verify who received a vaccine shot, and will refuse to give you a vaccine shot or booster. They won't verify with your doctor, they won't verify the information they have, they won't verify anything with anybody else administering shots. I hope you have a unique name, and that nobody got a shot using it ever before. Hannaford will tell you to leave, unvaccinated, and die. Somehow, you must contact every location that has ever given a shot to anyone with a similar name, which is impossible. Thank you for the death sentence, Hannaford Pharmacy.
I am convinced this is the pure bureacratic, computer-driven manifestation of evil. There is no humanity in healthcare when pharmacists (who I thought cared the most about my health) refuse to provide a life-saving vaccine over a bizarre bureacratix mixup.
Anybody with a conscience would give the vaccine to somebody who needs it, and not let a computer glitch, clerical mishap, or identity theft prevent someone from life-saving treatment.

Read moreI shopped at the new Hannaford on Shelburne road in South Burlington Vt this morning May 29, 2020 at around 7:30 am. All store employees are wearing masks or shields. When I got to the bread aisle, an employee of the bread distributing company was stocking the shelves. He did not make any effort to move a bit, was not wearing a mask and was coughing all over the shelves. I moved away and went back later on to get my bread. At this points I noticed he was pushing his empty cart through the doors at the back of the store. This man is putting shoppers and employees at risk. What are your store policies about your distributors wearing proper gear when in your store. You can take all the precautions you want with your employees but if you don't request your distri utors do the same it doesn't accomplish anything. The store manager who I complained to, told me that people in the country are getting killed over this subject, so they cannot enforce masks. I say, its your store and although you can't require customers to wear masks, you surely can have an agreement with the distributing company to require their employees to protect and show...
Read moreHannaford's Supermarket over on Shelburne Road is the closest to me. I walked into vegetables section and was really impressed on their set-up. Having fruits and vegetables together and just beyond that the meat section makes your mind think what can go together for a healthy dinner for your family. I spent a lot of time in the meat section choosing on my cuts of meat which was beef, pork and chicken but I was more impressed with the prices that were going along with them. Hannaford's Supermarket is my very first time to really do my grocery shopping and clearly won't be my last. I have been to Price Chopper-Market 32 and Shaw's Supermarket and the amount of groceries I bought on Monday 10/2/23 would have been clearly at least a $100 dollars more or even more than that. The staff is very friendly and helpful in finding items throughout their store. I really do believe I will be doing ALL my grocery shopping over at Hannaford's Supermarket for now on because I like...
